    摘要: A variable valve timing device includes a cam shaft, a rocker arm rotatably supporting the first roller and enabling a valve to be opened by a swing movement thereof when a first roller is pressed, a swing cam with a second cam surface, and an actuator for controlling the support shaft to move along a circular arc with a center at a center of the first roller in a valve-open state. The swing cam is swingable at a center of the support shaft, when a second roller is pressed by the cam shaft, so that the second cam surface presses the first roller. A contact position, between the first cam surface and the second roller, moves in a direction opposite to a rotational direction of the cam shaft when the support shaft is moved in a direction where a maximum lift amount of the valve becomes smaller.

    摘要: The output rotation of an automatic transmission is transferred to a flyweight to rotate it. A spool is depressed in an axial direction under the centrifugal force of the flyweight, generating a governor hydraulic pressure corresponding to the rotational speed of the flyweight. Some of the governor pressure is fed back to the spool. The force in the direction opposite to the pressing force generated by the flyweight is applied to the spool, thereby balancing the spool. A spring enclosing chamber communicating with the outside is formed serially in the axial direction of the spool and separately from the feedback hydraulic pressure. A force in the direction opposite to the pressing force of the flyweight is exerted on the spool by the spring disposed in the spring enclosing chamber, thereby establishing a breakpoint at which generation of the governor hydraulic pressure occurs.

    摘要: In order to prevent gear noise in reverse gear shift of a synchromesh type manual transmission having a reverse fork rod for effecting the reverse gear shift with no synchronizer and at least one forward speed fork rod connected with a synchronizer, there is provided an engaging mechanism having translational member and rotational member one of which is mounted on the forward fork rod and the other of which is mounted on a select member for selecting one of the fork rods and shifting the selected fork rod. The translational and rotational members are engaged with each other so as to move the forward fork rod to actuate the synchronizer to facilitate the reverse shift when the reverse fork rod is selected and shifted. During this, the translational member moves rectilinearly along the axis of the forward fork rod, and the rotational member rotates so that the translational and rotational members are disengaged halfway to return the forward fork rod.
