    摘要: There is described an anemometer for the measurement of the flow velocity of gases and liquids particularly for the measurement of the intake air of internal combustion engines whereby the heated resistances are film resistance made of a metal layer and carrier, should have the shortest possible response time. This is attained by so dimensioning the flow paths (6) in the metal layer (1) that the resulting resistance per unit of surface area stands in a constant ratio to the local heat transfer coefficient.

    摘要: A porous permeable molded body designed especially for use in the removal of diesel soot particles from the exhaust gas of diesel engines is disclosed. The body includes an alternatingly closed honeycombed body made of silicon carbide and possessing the following features: ______________________________________ wall thickness: 1.25 .+-. 0.5 mm; porosity: 55 to 60%; average pore diameter: 25 to 70 .mu.m; specific permeability: 20 to 100 nPm. ______________________________________ In the production method, a starting powder of silicon or a mixture of silicon with portions of silicon carbide and/or carbon is combined with an organic binding agent that can be coked and molded into a green body. This is then subjected to a coking fire in an inert-gas atmosphere; the molded body obtained in this manner is then heated in the presence of nitrogen or a nitrogenous inert gas to a temperature where free silicon is converted with the carbon, in a reaction firing, to silicon carbide. Additionally, a recrystallization firing at greater than 2000.degree. C. is implemented.

    摘要: The subject of the present invention consists of a method and an apparatus for measurement of the fluorescence relaxation period of the radiation of a fluorescent substance whose fluorescence relaxation period is a function of at least one physical parameter. The fluorescence radiation is fed back to the output radiation in a regulating circuit, whose regulating parameter is a parameter for the physical parameter. This is accomplished by advancing the fluorescence radiation to a photoelectric receiver whose output signals are supplied to a voltage controlled oscillator following phase-sensitive rectification and integration. The fluorescence radiation is alternately phase-sensitively rectified only during the relaxation phase. The total durations of the different rectification periods in the two directions are identical. The alternatingly rectified signals are integrated.

    摘要: An apparatus is proposed which serves to control the quantity of exhaust gas recirculated from the exhaust gas system of an internal combustion engine to its intake side. The apparatus includes a pneumatic final control element having a diaphragm defining a work chamber, the diaphragm arranged to actuate a valve closing member of an exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve. Via a control pressure line, a flow line leading to the atmosphere and a connecting line leading to the intake tube downstream of a throttle valve are connected to the work chamber. A check valve opening toward the intake tube, a reservoir and a throttle restriction are disposed in the connecting line. A bypass line having a bypass valve bypasses the throttle restriction. Disposed in the flow line is an electrofluid converter of the nozzle/bounce plate type, by means of which, triggered by an electronic control unit in accordance with operating variables of the engine, a predetermined pressure drop between the atmosphere and the pressure in the work chamber can be established.
