    摘要: An apparatus for detecting errors in a wireless communication channel comprises a receiver which receives a data stream from the wireless communication channel, a signal strength indication circuit coupled with the receiver which indicates signal strength for a received data stream, and processing resources coupled to the signal strength indication circuit which monitors the received data signal strength to detect anomalies in the strength of the received data stream, typical of erroneous data. Also, the system includes a signal phase monitoring circuit coupled with the receiver. This circuit indicates phase of the received data stream. Processing resources coupled with the signal phase monitoring circuit, monitor the received data stream phase to detect anomalies in phase of the received data stream typical of erroneous data. In addition, the data stream will include data packets having error detection codes imbedded within the data packets. Processing resources coupled with the receiver are responsive to the error detection codes to detect errors in the data packets. Thus, an error detection system based on monitoring the amplitude, and the phase of a received signal, combined with digital CRC detection techniques provides an efficient error detection system, capable of detecting interference early in transmission, allowing more rapid recovery in retries.

    摘要: In a system that demodulates a frequency modulated signal using a quadrature detector circuit, an apparatus that tunes the output signal to compensate for any offset in the signal includes an offset adjustment circuit and a control circuit. The offset adjustment circuit is operably coupled to the control circuit which may consist of a DAC and a digital logic such as a computer CPU. The control circuit determines a correction signal in response to a sequence of sampled of the system output, and supplies the correction signal to the offset adjustment circuit. The offset adjustment circuit provides an offset correction signal in response to the correction signal, and combines the offset correction signal with the output of the quadrature detector to provide an offset adjusted signal at an output node.

    摘要: This invention relates to heteroaryl substituted fused bicyclic heteroaryl compounds, such as heteroaryl substituted imidazopyridines, imidazopyrazines, imidazopyridizines, imidazopyrimidines, and imidazothiazoles, which may be described by Formula I or Formula II: The invention is particularly related to such compounds that bind with high selectivity and high affinity to the benzodiazepine site of GABAA receptors. This invention also relates to pharmaceutical compositions comprising such compounds and to the use of such compounds in treatment of certain central nervous system (CNS) diseases. Processes for preparing compounds of Formula I and Formula II are disclosed. This invention also relates to the use of benzimidazoles, pyridylimidazoles and related bicyclic heteroaryl compounds of Formula I or Formula II in combination with one or more other CNS agents to potentiate the effects of the other CNS agents. Additionally this invention relates to the use such compounds as probes for the localization of GABAA receptors in tissue sections.
