The brake includes an actuation shaft rotatable about a shaft axis and an actuation device for transferring rotational movement of the actuation shaft into movement of the brake shoe from the disengaged position to the engaged position. The axis of rotation is non-parallel to the shaft axis.

    摘要： An injection nozzle for an internal combustion engine has a valve member (10) with a seating line (112) defining a seat diameter, the seating line (112) being engageable with a seating surface (14) to control fuel injection by the nozzle, in use. The seating line is defined by an annular ridge (40, 44, 46), integrally formed with the valve needle (10), so as to reduce variations in the seat diameter which would otherwise arise at manufacture due to contact between the valve needle (10) and the seating surface (14) in regions other than at the seating line. The invention provides an advantage in manufacture as repeatability and consistency of the geometry, and in particular the effective seat diameter, of nozzle products is improved.

    摘要： An apparatus, system, and method are disclosed for recalling a logical volume from a mountable media for use in a virtual tape server. The apparatus includes a receiving module, a queuing module, and an optimizer module. The receiving module receives recall requests for logical volumes stored in a mountable media such as a tape cartridge. The queuing module places the requests in a queue to be processed in turn. The optimizer module reorders the queue based on one or more optimization rules in order to process the recall requests more efficiently.

    摘要： A control system for a disc brake adjuster mechanism includes a controller and an electric adjuster motor for operable connection to an adjuster mechanism for driving a friction lining towards and away from a disc brake rotor to maintain a predetermined running clearance between the brake rotor and the friction lining when a brake is not applied. The system further includes a brake displacement sensor, and the controller is programmed to determine the brake displacement at which a predetermined load on the friction lining is achieved due to the contact with the disc brake rotor. The predetermined load is determined from a parameter of the electric adjuster motor or adjuster mechanism. The system is programmed to measure the brake displacement during brake release.
