摘要: Cell-to-cell connection plates (1) each integrally having a welding part (2) shaped to fall within a circular end of a battery case (7) and a connecting part (2) extending from this welding part (2) are provided. The cell-to-cell connection plates (1) are attached to one electrode terminal and the other electrode terminal of the battery case (7) by welding the welding parts (2), respectively. The connecting parts (3) of the respective cell-to-cell connection plates (1) attached to each adjoining pair of cylindrical batteries (Ba) are overlapped with each other and coupled into electric connection. Consequently, regardless of whether a plurality of cylindrical batteries (Ba) are axially arranged in series or radially juxtaposed, each adjoining two can be connected to each other by using the identical cell-to-cell connection plates (1) for cost reduction. It is also possible to provide a sufficient heat dissipation effect and achieve sufficient robustness and weight saving even when connecting large-sized cylindrical batteries.

摘要: An inter-battery connection device for connecting terminals of two batteries (1a, 1b) arranged with their axes parallel to each other. The inter-battery connection device includes an inter-battery connection plate (11) that connects the battery case bottom (2) and the sealing plate (3) of the two batteries. The inter-battery connection plate (11) includes welding portions (4) at the ends of its base plate (6) for welding to the case bottom (2) and the sealing plate (3), respectively. An intermediate metal plate (7) is joined to the middle part of the base plate (6) between the welding portions (4, 4) to form an intermediate portion (5) having a greater thickness than each welding portion (4). The inter-battery connection device has reduced electric resistance while achieving improved weldability.

摘要: An optical element of the invention comprises at least three laminated circular-polarization-type-reflection polarizers (a) whose wavelength bands for selective reflection of polarized light overlap one another; a layer (b1) which is placed between at least a pair of the circular-polarization-type-reflection polarizers (a) and has a front retardation of substantially zero (in the normal direction) and a retardation of at least λ/8 with respect to incident light inclined by at least 30° relative to the normal direction; and a layer (b2) which is placed between at least another pair of the circular-polarization-type-reflection polarizers (a) and has a front retardation of substantially zero (in the normal direction) and a retardation of at most λ/2 with respect to incident light inclined by 60° relative to the normal direction. The optical element condenses or collimates incident light from a light source and can control transmission of light at large incident angles relative to the normal direction, increase front brightness and reduce coloration.

摘要: The polyamic acid of the invention can be obtained by the reaction of an acid anhydride component comprising pyromellitic anhydride and 2,2-bis(3,4-dicarboxyphenyl)hexafluoropropane with 2,2′-di-substituted-4,4′-diaminobiphenyls as a first aromatic diamine and any aromatic diamine component, as a second aromatic diamine, of 2,2-bis(4-aminophenoxyphenyl)propanes, 1,1-bis(4-(4-aminophenoxy)-3-t-butyl-6-methylphenyl)butane, 2,2-bis(3-amino-4-methylphenyl)hexafluoropropane and &agr;,&agr;′-bis(4-aminophenyl)diisopropylbenzenes in an organic solvent. The polyimide resin of the invention can be obtained by heating such a polyamic acid solution. In the production of a circuit board, by using a photosensitive polyamic acid having a sensitizer incorporated in such a polyamic acid solution, a patterned polyimide resin layer can be provided as an insulation layer on a metal foil.
