摘要: It is intended to provide a method whereby transfer efficiency can be improved under any conditions in the case of transferring (in particular, transfecting) a target substance that cannot easily be transferred into cells (for example, a DNA, a polypeptide, a sugar, a complex thereof or the like). Namely, a composition for elevating the transfer efficiency of a target substance into cells which contains a cell adhesion-related factor, and a device and a method using the composition.

摘要: It is intended to provide a method and system for carrying out data production with respect to the actual status of cells as a profile. It is also intended to provide a system and method for presenting time-lapse and/or real-time information of cell interior directly, or as it is, from the viewpoint of a complex system. It is further intended to provide a method of presenting a digital cell. Thus, there is provided a method of producing profile data relating to cell information, comprising the step (a) of arranging cells in an immobilized form on a support and the step (b) of monitoring over time biological factors on or inside the cells or an aggregate thereof, thereby producing profile data for the cells. Furthermore, there is provided a method of producing a digital cell, comprising procuring experimental data by the use of the above method.

摘要: A chemical sensor utilizing a chemical receptor (for example, one stimulating the sense of taste or smell) is provided. More specifically speaking, such a receptor is introduced into cells and the cells are immobilized on a support to form a chip. This chip is then employed as a component of a sensor. This sensor shows a reaction almost the same as the body's perception of the taste or smell or sense, thereby enabling analysis. Thus, it is also usable as an artificial sensory organ. Moreover, this sensor is usable in diagnosis, which imparts a high industrial usefulness to it.

摘要: There is provided a tool for effectively performing a meaningful analysis of a system state by using a specific index. A part having unusual behavior is extracted as an event timing from time-series data on an index derived from a system. An event descriptor describing the state of the system by using the event timing is generated. A method for generating the event descriptor associated with at least one system includes: a step (A) for acquiring time-series data on at least one index derived from at least one system; a step (B) for providing at least one peculiar behavior associated with the index; and a step (C) for extracting a part having the peculiar behavior as an event timing in the time-series data and generating an event descriptor described by the event timing.
