    摘要: An ignition distributor for an internal combustion engine with reduced electric discharge energy and suppressed radio noise generation comprises a rotor electrode capable of rotary motion and a plurality of stationary electrodes arranged substantially in a circle around the rotor electrode through an electric discharge clearance therebetween, where the rotor electrode is made of a sintered mixture comprising zirconium oxide and an electroconductive inorganic compound having a specific resistance of not more than 10.sup.6 .OMEGA.cm as main components. The sintered mixture can be ZrO.sub.2 and an oxide selected from ZnO, NiO and CoO; or ZrO.sub.2, aluminum oxide and an oxide selected from ZnO, CoO, Al.sub.2 TiO.sub.5 and SrTiO.sub.3 or a carbide selected from ZrC, TiC and TaC.

    摘要: An improved alumina substrate comprising alumina and magnesium oxide has a surface finish of no more than 0.05 .mu.m CLA and a density of at least 3.90 g/cm.sup.3 in an as-fired condition and is composed of alumina grains which are sufficiently grown to have straight grain boundaries and flat surfaces to form a surface of the substrate. The improved substrate is produced by firing a green sheet having a high content of raw material powder and a density of more than 2.60 g/cm.sup.3 at a temperature of 1525.degree. to 1650.degree. C. The green sheet with high density is formed by the process of aggregating an organic agent and a high purity alumina powder by dry milling and casting the resultant slip.

The middle leg is formed with a region which is lower in height than the first outer leg, in the same direction as the longitudinal direction of the first outer leg.

    摘要: A vital signal detecting apparatus comprises an attachable device to be attached to a finger, a sensor having a light-emitting device and a light-receiving device, and a transmitting circuit for transmitting a signal waveform as a pulse wave from the sensor to a pulse wave monitoring unit. The pulse wave detecting unit also has an attachment detecting circuit for detecting whether or not the attachable device is in an attached state by comparing a signal waveform obtained when the light-emitting device is on with a signal waveform obtained when the light-emitting device is off and an operation control circuit for controlling the operation of the sensor, the transmitting circuit and the attachment detecting circuit. Preferably, the light-transmitting plate is disposed above the light-emitting device and the light-receiving device to pass light therethrough, and the light transmitting plate may be an IR-cut filter capable of blocking light of wavelengths greater than 700 nm.

The first counter part determines a significant respiratory disorder pattern based on the average of multiple amplitudes included in a respiratory signal, and counts the number of respiratory disorders. The second counter part that determines, when the number of respiratory disorders per unit time counted by the first counter part is greater than a predetermined number, a significant respiratory disorder pattern by the values of individual amplitudes included in the respiratory signal, and again counts the number of respiratory disorders. A more accurate apnea hypopnea index is obtained for serious patients, and accuracy as PSG screening examination can be increased.
