In the maximum likelihood decoding of the convolutional code, the metric processing is not carried out for all of the possible paths and states but a smaller number of path(s) (metric(s)) and state(s) (metric(s)) are selected in a descending order to determine survival paths.

    摘要: A simplified carrier phase control apparatus used in a modem for demodulating a quadrature amplitude modulated data signal, to correct phase jitters of a carrier signal due to a 50 Hz or a 60 Hz frequency of the commercial power supply, and its harmonic wave frequency components. The carrier phase control apparatus has a predictive filter for predicting a carrier phase jitter, the predictive filter composed of band-pass filters with center frequencies of 50 Hz and 60 Hz, and a circuit where the output signals of the band-pass filters are multiplied by the coefficients and added linearly.

    摘要: A rechargeable lithium battery according to the present invention includes a positive electrode including a positive active material being capable of intercalating and deintercalating lithium; a negative electrode including a negative active material being capable of intercalating and deintercalating lithium; and a non-aqueous electrolyte. The negative electrode includes a lithium-containing metal compound that is inactive for water, and can intercalate lithium during at least discharge. The rechargeable lithium battery has an irreversible capacity during a first charge and discharge, and has no problems such dendrite, electrolyte decomposition, or dissolution of a negative current collector.

    摘要: An air motor and an electric painting device improves driving efficiency, and includes a housing, a main shaft inserted inside of the housing, an impeller fixed concentrically with the main shaft to an inserted portion of the main shaft and having a plurality of turbine blades formed on the outer periphery, bearings for rotatably supporting the main shaft and the impeller, and a nozzle having a tubular or hole-shaped channel for ejecting compressed air to the respective turbine blades for rotating the impeller along the circumference. When M1=ve/a0 where ve denotes flow velocity of the compressed air in an entrance of the channel of the nozzle, and a0 denotes acoustic velocity, the length of the channel of the nozzle is set to a dimension of a calculated value or greater using a predetermined expression.
