Abstract: A workpiece holding body holding a workpiece having a three-dimensional shape is swung around a lateral swing axis to position the workpiece so that one mounting surface of the workpiece faces a predetermined worked direction and a viscous substance is printed on the one mounting surface of the workpiece which is positioned. The workpiece holding body is swung around the swing axis to position the workpiece so that another mounting surface of the workpiece in which the viscous substance is printed on one mounting surface faces the worked direction and to print the viscous substance on the other mounting surface of the workpiece which is positioned.

Abstract: A screen printing apparatus moves a mask, inserted through an insertion opening, to a printing position at which paste is printed onto a substrate via a mask moving mechanism, and includes: a first detecting unit that detects one of a front frame component and a back frame component of the mask at a first detection position on a path along which the mask inserted through the insertion opening is moved to the printing position; a second detecting unit that detects one of the front frame component and the back frame component at a second detection position closer to the printing position than the first detecting position is; and a print suspension controller that suspends printing when the second detecting unit detects one of the front frame component and the back frame component while the first detecting unit is detecting one of the front frame component and the back frame component.

Abstract: There is provided a screen printing apparatus including: a mask plate on which a plurality of pattern holes are formed; a carrier supporter which supports a carrier which has a plurality of first openings and in which a plurality of workpieces are disposed on the plurality of first openings; a backup unit which has a plurality of workpiece supporters; a raising and lowering unit which lifts up the plurality of workpieces from the carrier and returns the plurality of lifted-up workpieces to the carrier; an aligner which aligns the plurality of workpieces in accordance with arrangement of the plurality of pattern holes; an overlapper which relatively moves the backup unit and the mask plate; and a print head which prints a paste on the plurality of workpieces on the plurality of workpiece supporters through the plurality of pattern holes.

Abstract: A screen printing apparatus for printing paste on a printed pattern of a print target constituted of a substrate or a plurality of aligned substrates includes a mask having a plurality of opening patterns different in size from one another. The screen printing apparatus images the substrate or one of the aligned substrates constituting the print target, and calculates a level of deformation by expansion and contraction of the print target, based on a result of the imaging. The screen printing apparatus then selects an opening pattern from among the opening patterns, based on the calculated level of deformation by expansion and contraction of the print target, brings the print target into contact with the mask to superimpose the selected opening pattern on the printed pattern, and deposits the paste on the printed pattern.
