Abstract:
Disclosed herein is an activated EU-2 zeolite, including: pores having a diameter of 30 to 40 Å while maintaining the crystal structure of the EU-2 zeolite; and pores having a diameter of 40 to 200 Å, wherein the volume of the pores having a diameter of 30 to 40 Å is 0.01 to 0.06 cc/g, and the volume of the pores having a diameter of 40 to 200 Å is 0.07 to 0.4 cc/g.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a method for producing a quality lubricant base oil (meeting the standard of Group III or higher) comprising: decarbonylating mixed fatty acids derived from oils and fats of biological origin to produce mixed olefins; oligomerizing the mixed olefins to produce an olefinic lubricant base oil; and performing hydrogenation to remove olefins from the olefinic lubricant base oil.

Abstract:
Disclosed is a method of manufacturing high-quality lube base oil, by converting a low-value linear alpha-olefin having a C18 or more hydrocarbon chain into a linear internal-olefin having a controlled double bond position distribution and then oligomerizing the linear internal-olefin.

Abstract:
Embodiments of the present invention relate to drilling oil, and to a method of preparing the drilling oil, including converting C16 and/or C18 fatty acids derived from fat of biological origin into C15 and/or C17 olefins through decarbonylation.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a bifunctional catalyst for a hydrodewaxing process with improved isomerization selectivity, and to a method for manufacturing the same, and more particularly to a bifunctional catalyst and to a method for manufacturing same, which is characterized in that EU-2 zeolite with a controlled degree of phase transformation is used as a catalyst support having an acid site. The EU-2 zeolite, the degree of phase transformation of which is controlled, includes, by controlling synthesis parameters of EU-2, predetermined amounts of materials that are phase-transformed from EU-2 crystals such as cristobalite and quartz. The metal loaded bifunctional catalyst according to the present invention improves selectivity of the isomerization process, rather than a cracking reaction, during a hydroisomerization reaction of n-hexadecane. Therefore, the bifunctional catalyst can be widely used as a catalyst for a dewaxing process such as lubricant base oil and diesel oil.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a hydrogen spillover-based catalyst and use thereof, wherein a hydrogen activation metal cluster is dispersed in the form of being encapsulated in a crystalline or amorphous aluminosilicate matrix which is partially or fully structurally collapsed zeolite, thereby exhibiting high hydroprocessing or dehydrogenation activity and suppressed C—C hydrogenolysis activity.
Abstract:
This invention relates to a method of producing aromatic hydrocarbons and olefin from hydrocarbonaceous oils including large amounts of polycyclic aromatic compounds having two or more rings via partial hydrogenation in the presence of a hydrogenation catalyst and catalytic cracking in the presence of a catalytic cracking catalyst.
