The battery system comprising a battery module having a plurality of battery cells being connected, a battery pack having a plurality of battery modules being connected either in series or in parallel or both in series and in parallel, and a battery block having a plurality of battery packs being connected either in series or in parallel or both in series and in parallel. They are mutually layered. In the battery system, the battery module, the battery pack, and the battery block are previously prepared as variations of layered basic units. In response to requirements for any scale of system constructions, the basic units are combined accordingly.

    摘要: When detecting a fault of a master control device, a slave control device refers to master-device-line information, and obtains line information to establish a connection with the other master control device. The slave control device transmits connection request information to the master control device extracted from the other master control devices. The other master control device determines whether or not it is connectable with the slave control device that has transmitted the connection request information, and transmits a determination result as connectability information. The slave control device switches a communication line to the other master control device when the received connectability information indicates the connectable status.

    摘要: Provided is a method of manufacturing a surface-emitting laser capable of preventing characteristics fluctuations within the plane and among wafers and oscillating in a single fundamental transverse mode. The method includes after performing selective oxidation: exposing a bottom face of a surface relief structure by etching a second semiconductor layer with a first semiconductor layer where a pattern of the surface relief structure has been formed as an etching mask and a third semiconductor layer as an etching stop layer; and exposing a top face of the surface relief structure by etching the first semiconductor layer where the pattern of the surface relief structure has been formed, with the second semiconductor layer and the third semiconductor layer as etching stop layer.

    摘要: A surface-emitting laser has an active layer between a first distributed Bragg reflector and a second distributed Bragg reflector. The first distributed Bragg reflector is formed so as to have a resonant mode and a first longitudinal mode different from the resonant mode included in the reflectivity stop band and a second longitudinal mode different from the resonant mode and the first longitudinal mode excluded from the reflectivity stop band. Oscillation is suppressed in the first longitudinal mode and in the second longitudinal mode. As a result, the surface-emitting laser can oscillate in a single longitudinal mode, suppressing longitudinal mode hopping.

The photonic crystal structure has a thickness of 100 nm or more. A laser beam is emitted toward a direction opposite to a side of the photonic crystal layer on which the electrode is provided.

    摘要: A surface-emitting laser has an active layer between a first distributed Bragg reflector and a second distributed Bragg reflector. The first distributed Bragg reflector is formed so as to have a resonant mode and a first longitudinal mode different from the resonant mode included in the reflectivity stop band and a second longitudinal mode different from the resonant mode and the first longitudinal mode excluded from the reflectivity stop band. Oscillation is suppressed in the first longitudinal mode and in the second longitudinal mode. As a result, the surface-emitting laser can oscillate in a single longitudinal mode, suppressing longitudinal mode hopping.
