    摘要: An excavator has a number of different hydraulically powered functions that are controlled by a closed center hydraulic system that features a pair of variable displacement, engine driven hydraulic pumps, the displacement of which is responsive to the demands of the system. The flow to the various hydraulic motors is controlled by pilot operated load sensing control valves that direct fluid pressure to a load sensing line when one of the hydraulic motors in the system is being operated. The load sensing line is connected to the control system of the pumps to place the pumps in stroke when a flow of pressurized fluid is required. The flow of the load sensing pressure to the controls for one of the pumps can be optionally disconnected to place said pump in a standby condition and thereby reduce the flow capacity of the hydraulic system at the option of the operator. The load sensing line is also connected to a pressure actuated switch that closes when pressure in the line falls below a predetermined point, which occurs when none of the hydraulic motors are being actuated. The closed switch provides electric power to a solenoid through a time delay circuit so that the solenoid shifts the throttle control level on the excavator engine to its idle condition at a delay after the hydraulic pressure demand falls below the predetermined level.

    摘要: A large industrial earthmoving machine having a hydraulic propulsion system comprising at least two hydraulic motors which are powered from a source of hydraulic fluid to drive a common load. Each motor of the hydraulic propulsion system is provided with two compensating valve assemblies. Each compensating valve assembly is provided with a compensating spool and a shuttle spool to provide accurate control of the hydraulic motors. In each pair of compensating valve assemblies, there is a forward compensating valve assembly and a backward valve assembly respectively controlling forward and backward movement of the hydraulic motor. Between the both forward compensating valve assemblies and the respective hydraulic motors, the compensating valve assemblies are fluidically coupled to one another by a small hydraulic communication line that better equalizes hydraulic fluid flow to the motors and prevents domination of one forward compensating valve assembly over the other. Similarly, the backward compensating valve assemblies are provided with an identical small hydraulic communication line accomplishing the same results.

The control handle comprises a housing having a shaft portion and a control face portion that are formed from a switch plate and a back plate that are held together by self-tapping screws. The back plate is provided with terminal posts that are electrically coupled to a wiring harness extending up through the control handle and the switches. The switches can be mounted in various mounting orientations as desired by the operator.

    摘要: A pressure relief system for the primary hydraulic system of a large industrial machine wherein the biasing force biasing one of the pressure relief valves is supplied by the pilot hydraulic control system of the machine. A two-position valve is used to selectively change the biasing force in response to a temperature indicator. The two-position valve couples and decouples the pressure relief valve to and from the pilot control system hydraulic pump and the pilot hydraulic system sump. If the pressure relief valve is in communication through the two-position valve with the pilot hydraulic fluid sump, the biasing force is reduced against the pressure relief valve and the pressure in the primary hydraulic system opens the pressure relief valve and directs hydraulic fluid to the primary hydraulic fluid sump.
