    摘要: A production method of dry water containing an aqueous ingredient coated with a hydrophobic powder to form a powder state capable of liquefying upon embrocation at the time of use, wherein the dry water is produced by charging a hydrophobic powder and an aqueous ingredient into a hollow container forming a hydrophobic enclosed space in the inside thereof, followed by agitating at a high speed in the enclosed hydrophobic hollow container to form the aqueous ingredient to fine aqueous droplets, and then allowing the surfaces of the fine aqueous droplets to be uniformly adsorbed with the hydrophobic powder, whereby the dry water in the form of a powder state, but is capable of being liquefied upon embrocation at the time of use to be simply produced in a large scale.

    摘要: Low molecular weight acetylhyaluronate has the following characteristics: intrinsic viscosity: 50 to 200 cm.sup.3 /g substitution degree of acetyl group: 2.6 to 3.6 (excluding N-acetyl group) A skin-softening composition is mainly composed of this low molecular weight acetylhyaluronate. It can exhibit excellent skin-softening effect and moisturizing effect, while appropriately suppressing the thread-forming ability inherent in hyaluronic acid. A method of manufacturing acetylhyaluronate comprises the steps of suspending hyaluronic acid powder in an acetic anhydride solvent and then adding concentrated sulfuric acid thereto to effect acetylation. A method of purifying acetylhyaluronate comprises the steps of adding raw acetylhyaluronate to an aqueous acetone solution, adding and dissolving sodium lactate therein, and then adding highly concentrated acetone thereto to precipitate highly pure acetylhyaluronate. Acetylhyaluronate having highly purity can be obtained inexpensively.

    摘要: A variable resistance element comprises a variable resistor of strongly-correlated material sandwiched between two metal electrodes, and the electric resistance between the metal electrodes varies when a voltage pulse is applied between the metal electrodes. Such a switching operation as the ratio of electric resistance between low and high resistance states is high can be attained by designing the metal electrodes and variable resistor appropriately based on a definite switching operation principle. Material and composition of the first electrode and variable resistor are set such that metal insulator transition takes place on the interface of the first electrode in any one of two metal electrodes and the variable resistor by applying a voltage pulse. Two-phase coexisting phase of metal and insulator phases can be formed in the vicinity of the interface between the variable resistor and first electrode by the work function difference between the first electrode and variable resistor.

    摘要: An electronic trip meter with an alarm for an automotive vehicle comprises a travelled distance sensing circuit, a memory circuit, a modification circuit, comparators, an alarm, first and second counters, a subtractor, a display circuit, and other auxiliary circuits. A plurality of sub distances defined by guide points along a course and a total distance of the course are respectively preset in the memory circuit and the second counter. The second counter output signal indicates a distance remaining to the goal of the course for displaying the remaining distance. The modification circuit output signal indicates a distance shorter than a sub distance while the first counter output signal indicates a distance actually travelled. When the vehicle travells over the distance shorter than the sub distance, the alarm is energized, by means of a comparison of the distances for informing the driver that a next guide point is near. Simultaneously, a distance remaining to the next guide point is displayed for a predetermined period of time.

    摘要: A navigational information indicator for supplying a vehicle driver with make-turn instructions comprises a first memory for storing each information indicative of each distance travelled by the vehicle as far as a point at which a turn is made, a second memory for storing each information indicative of the direction of each turn, and a display circuit for displaying a directional sign. When the vehicle travels from a first point toward a second point, the distances and directions of turns are respectively stored in the first and second memories in a sequence and these pieces of information are read out in the reverse sequence when the vehicle travels back to the first point from the second point along the same route. The stored information is read out to display each directional sign so as to supply the vehicle driver with make-turn instructions along the return trip.
