    摘要: An electric junction box for a vehicle is assembled by fitting and locking a connector through an aperture provided in a main case; the aperture being used for fitting the connector that holds a retainer at a temporary latch location, the retainer providing a double latch for a terminal; inserting and latching the terminal of an electric wire into the connector; and pushing the retainer into a full latch position. A recess for retainer operation is provided at a location facing the retainer and on a surrounding wall of the main case that surrounds the aperture.

    摘要: A particulate material processing apparatus has a vessel, a processing tank, and a dispersing member. The vessel has a charging port for charging a particulate material into the vessel. The processing tank receives the particulate material charged from the charging port. The processing tank is shaped so as to narrow towards the bottom. At least the lower part of the processing tank is made of a gas-permeable material that allows the process gas for processing the particulate material to pass through. The dispersing member is disposed below the charging port. The dispersing member disperses and flattens the particulate material on the processing tank.

    摘要: In an artificial sea-mount constructed by piling up a plurality of block bodies on the seabed to vertically mix water mass in a peripheral sea area using a tidal current, ocean current, and internal wave in that sea area, a cone array formed from three or more cones is constructed linearly on the seabed, and the vertex interval between the cones is set to 0.75 times to 2 times the bottom radius of the cone. It is possible to generate an upwelling current even in the deep sea area by inverted triangle-shaped gaps formed between the cones and the conic surfaces of the cones, and thus obtain effective upwelling flux.

    摘要: An optical disc controller for an optical disc drive playing optically a first information storage medium and a second information storage medium having a higher storage density than the first medium. The controller includes: a rotation control section for controlling a rotating mechanism rotating the media; an equalizer for removing first frequency range components from an RF playback signal, obtained by irradiating each media with light and detecting reflected light, and amplifying second frequency range components; and a phase locking section for generating a sync clock signal to do synchronization detection with a digital playback signal obtained by digitizing the output of the equalizer. The rotation control section rotates the media while controlling the rotating mechanism such that RF playback signals are obtained at first and second transfer rates. The maximum playback frequency of the RF playback signal obtained from the first medium at the first transfer rate is substantially equal to that of the RF playback signal obtained from the second medium at the second transfer rate.

    摘要: An electrical connection box has a substrate carrying electrical components, a molded synthetic resin casing fitted on the substrate at the lower side thereof, and a connector receivable in the casing and mountable at a predetermined position on the substrate. The connector has electrical, terminals engageable with electrical terminals of the substrate. A fastener is inserted in the substrate to draw the connector to its predetermined position. A holder for the connector is molded in one piece with the casing, and is open at its upper side to receive the connector. The connector and the holder have holding elements which are mutually engageable to hold the connector in the holder, prior to the operation of the fastener to draw the connector to its predetermined position, whereby the fastener through the connector holds the casing at its fitted position on the substrate.
