摘要: Disclosed is a non-invasive technique for determining with high precision vascular disease, in particular arteriosclerosis, vascular stenosis, and aneurisms. This technique is achieved by a program that determines vascular disease in a subject by comparing normal distribution graphs obtained from a subject to normal distribution graphs obtained from a normal individual, which are based on reflective echo waveforms obtained by sending ultrasonic waves to the subject's pulsating blood vessels, detecting correlation or difference between the normal distribution graphs, and, if a difference in the normal distribution graphs is detected, implementing on the computer a step for determining that the subject has a vascular disease.

摘要: A charging device for use in charging plural types of secondary batteries includes a power source unit for supplying a charging current to an object secondary battery, a battery type signal receiving unit for receiving a battery type signal, a battery temperature signal receiving unit for receiving a battery temperature signal, a blowing unit for blowing an air to the secondary battery, a storage unit for storing reference judging temperatures for determination of charging-incongruent temperatures of the plural types of secondary batteries, in a matching relationship with the types of the secondary batteries, and a control unit. The control unit allows the blowing unit to perform a blowing operation, if the temperature of the secondary battery exceeds a reference judging temperature, and to stop the blowing operation, if otherwise.

摘要: A disk device has a driving unit supported by elastic members. In a standby state, locking of the driving unit by a lock member is disengaged, so that the driving unit is elastically supported by dampers and a coil spring. This reduces the time of restriction by pins, thereby preventing damage to the pins. The lock member is operated at the time of receiving a disk, thereby locking the driving unit. Thus, the driving unit does not need to be locked in the casing for prolonged periods of time.

摘要: The present invention relates to an implant attachment stabilizer having, as an effective component, a methanebisphosphonic acid derivative represented by general formula (I) [where, in the formula, X, Y, m, n, , A, B, R1, R2, R3 and R4 are as defined in the Specification], or hydrate thereof. The methanebisphosphonic acid derivatives represented by general formula (I) or the hydrates thereof, to which the present invention relates, have an interstitial tissue proliferation inhibiting action and an osteolytic factor production inhibiting action and, in particular, since they inhibit osteolysis through the inhibition of the interstitial tissue proliferation which accompanies implant attachment and the inhibition of osteolysis factor production at the implant periphery, they are effective in the prevention of implant loosening and detachment, and it is possible to extend the implant attachment period in the case of implants such as artificial joints, and implants in the oro-dental field.
