    摘要: An occupant classification device includes a pressure-sensitive sensor including a plurality of pressure-sensitive portions connected in series with each other and dispersedly arranged on a seat cushion, each pressure-sensitive portion being constituted by a parallel connection of a pressure-sensitive resistance and a fixed resistance, a resistance value of the pressure-sensitive resistance being variable in response to an applied pressure, and a determination portion for calculating a load applied to the seat cushion based on a resistance value obtained from the plurality of pressure-sensitive portions and determining a seated status of the seat cushion based on the calculated load.

    摘要: An impact detecting apparatus has a housing having a conical slope therein and a ball located on the conical slope. A shaft is located within the housing and movably supported on the housing for striking the ball with one end. A fixed electrode is located within the housing and a movable electrode is located near the fixed electrode. The movable electrode electrically connects with the fixed electrode. A lever is rotatably and slidably supported within the housing. One end of the lever is able to push the movable electrode and the other end of the lever is able to contact with the shaft. A spring urges the shaft for striking the ball.

A piston defines a cylinder chamber inside the cylinder and slides on an inner wall of the cylinder. A rod is provided integrally with the piston and is displaced so as to extend from and contract into the cylinder. A link member is installed parallel to the axial direction of the cylinder or installed so as to extend obliquely to a direction parallel to the axial direction of the cylinder, and a first end of the link member is pivotably connected to a movable-side structure. A connecting member is fixed to the rod, and a second end of the link member is pivotably connected to the connecting member.

    摘要: To more reliably realize both improvement in fuel economy at the time of travelling of a vehicle and maintenance operation, a vehicle travel control for performing control at the time of travelling of the vehicle starts an engine when activation of an actuator of a pre-crash safety system is predicted when an engine is stopped causing a vehicle, which travels by power generated by the engine, to travel through inertia in an aim of reducing fuel consumption amount. Power is thus generated in an alternator arranged in the engine, so that supply amount of electricity can be increased.
