摘要: A switch executes complex protocol processing on control cells easily at a high speed in the same manner as normal cells are processed. The switch flexibly copes with new or modifies specifications and standards which might be established in the future for processing RM and OAM cells. Each link interface portion 1 of the ATM switch includes an input cells processing portion 7 and an output cell processing portion 8 provided at the input side and output side of a cell exchange portion 2, and cooperates with a control information maintenance portion 9 to execute application of switching information that the cell exchange portion 2 requires in input cells, and rewriting of ATM cell headers of input cells to and output cells from the cell exchange portion 2. The input cell processing portion 7 and the output cell processing portion 8 of each include a fixed sequencer and a microcode sequencer to execute complex protocol processing such as OAM, RM and other control functions in the microcode sequencer.

摘要: A silver halide photographic material comprising a support having thereon at least one silver halide emulsion layer, said emulsion layer or at least one of other hydrophilic colloid layers containing a compound represented by formula (I):PWR--Time--.sub.T LA (I)wherein PWR represents a group which undergoes reduction to release (Time).sub.t LA; Time represents a group which release LA upon reaction following release of (Time).sub.t LA from PWR; t represents an integer of 0 or 1; and LA represents a group having a maximum light absorption in a wavelength range of 310 nm or more. In a preferred embodiment, one of said other hydrophilic colloid layers substantially free of the compound represented by formula (I) is provided between said at least one silver halide emulsion layer in said silver halide photographic material and one of said other hydrophilic colloid layers containing the compound represented by formula (I), and at least one of these hydrophilic colloid layers or at least one other of said other hydrophilic colloid layers contains a hydrazine derivative. A process for the formation of an ultrahigh contrast image, which comprises exposing the above-described silver halide photographic material to light, and then developing the silver halide photographic material with a developing solution having a pH of 11.0 to 12.3 and containing 0.15 mol/l or more of sulfite ions.

摘要: A flaring apparatus including at least one of die member positional adjustment apparatus and a defective rim element ejecting apparatus. The positional adjustment apparatus includes a connecting shaft provided between a die member mounting block and a link mechanism for moving the mounting block. The connecting shaft has shaft portions, axes of which are radially offset from each other. By rotating the connecting shaft, the die member position can be adjusted. Therefore, there is no need to provide a shim between the die member and the mounting block. The defective rim element ejecting apparatus includes a pressure sensing switch which can detect an increase in pressure within a space defined by a rim element and the die members during flaring. When the pressure sensing switch does not detect a predetermined increase in the pressure of the space, for example, when the rim is cracked, a conveyor path device opens and the defective rim element will drop into an ejecting duct thereby ejecting the defective rim element from the manufacturing line.

摘要: An AV data recording/reproducing device is connected to a digital broadcasting tuner and the like via an IEEE1394 bus, in order to realize high-speed transfer when duplicating or transporting AV data between devices such as audio-visual data recording/reproducing devices. A synchronous transfer input/output portion inputs and outputs stream data that are AV data by isochronous transfer with an MPEG-2 transport stream. A recording control portion and a reproduction control portion generate timestamped data and reproduce the stream data, and an HDD stores the timestamped data. An asynchronous transfer input/output portion asynchronously inputs and outputs the timestamped data by SBP-2 transfer. Consequently, the timestamped data that can reproduce the stream data are transferred at high speeds, regardless of an actual time required for performing the display or the like of the stream data.
