    摘要: A leakage diagnosing apparatus for an evaporated gas purge system, which executes purge system leakage diagnosis based on a detected pressure change amount and an introduced pressure which is introduced into a part of the purge system including at least a fuel tank and a canister. The detected pressure change amount is obtained by detecting pressure in the part of the purge system after such part of the purge system is hermetically sealed. Accordingly, the reliability of the leakage diagnosis is improved because an erroneous diagnosis caused by the introduced pressure is prevented. The detected pressure change amount may be compensated based on the introduced pressure into the sealed gas purge system. Accordingly, an erroneous leakage determination is prevented, and the reliability of leakage determination is improved.

    摘要: A fuel supplying apparatus controls fuel pressure according to engine operating conditions to prevent blow-through of injected fuel into the exhaust system and hyper-vaporization of fuel. When the engine is being started and the fuel temperature is high, or when the engine has just started and the fuel temperature is high, a target fuel pressure is determined according to the fuel temperature. When a predetermined time has elapsed following the starting of the engine, or when the fuel temperature is not high (even if the predetermined time has not elapsed), it is determined whether fuel vapor is being purged from a canister into an intake pipe. The canister traps fuel vapor from a fuel tank. If the fuel purging is being performed, the apparatus determines whether the current engine operation is in a low-load region. If the fuel purging is being performed and the engine operation is in the low-load region, the apparatus computes a target fuel pressure according to the fuel purging conditions. If the fuel purging is not being performed, or if the engine operation is not in the low-load region, the target fuel pressure is determined as a basic target fuel pressure.

    摘要: A common rail fuel injection system has a fuel pump, a common rail, and an injector. The injector injects high-pressure fuel supplied from the common rail into an engine and leaks part of the high-pressure fuel. An electronic control unit (ECU) restricts a heat amount of the leak fuel of the injector based on a remaining amount of the fuel in a fuel tank. At that time, a target value of the fuel pressure in the common rail is changed to a lower value and the restriction of the fuel pressure is performed with the changed target value. Thus, decrease in generation torque of the engine against intension of a driver can be inhibited while protecting components such as the fuel injection valve.

Then the warm up is completed or a transmission is shifted to a drive range, the ignition timing is gradually advanced and the intake air amount is gradually decreased. Therefore, an engine speed is smoothly changed from the rapid heating control to the normal control without a torque shock. Additionally, a beginning of the advancing of the ignition timing is delayed by a predetermined delay time relative to a beginning of the decreasing of the intake air amount. The decreasing of the intake air amount prevents undesirable increase of the engine speed caused by the advancing of the ignition timing.

    摘要: An engine has variable timing mechanisms, which are controlled in starting an engine to set valve opening overlap of an intake valve and an exhaust valve around 30° CA. In this case, internal EGR is actively conducted and fuel burning velocity within a cylinder becomes relatively slow and unburned fuel within the cylinder is emitted to an exhaust pipe to be post-burned by itself. Temperature of exhaust gas is maintained high and catalyst converters in the cold state may be activated quickly by actively implementing the post-burning within the exhaust pipe. Further, ignition timing is retarded, an air-fuel ratio is controlled at a slightly lean ratio and the exhaust valve is advanced. The effect of raising the temperature of exhaust gas by the post-burning may be realized more reliably by combining each of these controls.
