    摘要: A liquid crystal display device includes a first substrate including a thin film transistor, a data line, a pixel electrode, and a common electrode, a second substrate, and liquid crystal sandwiched between the first and second substrates, wherein an image signal is applied to the thin film transistor through the data line to generate an electric field between the pixel electrode receiving the image signal and the common electrode such that the liquid crystal is rotated by the electric field in a plane which is in parallel with the first substrate. The first substrate includes an electrically insulating inorganic film covering the data line therewith, a first island-shaped electrically insulating organic film formed on the electrically insulating inorganic film above the data line, and a shield common electrode covering the first island-shaped electrically insulating organic film therewith and overlapping the data line when viewed vertically.

    摘要: A liquid ejecting apparatus includes pressure chambers that communicate with nozzles and an element that varies liquid pressure inside the pressure chamber in accordance with variation in a potential. An ejection pulse generating unit generates a first ejection pulse applied to the element upon ejecting first liquid droplets from the nozzles and a second ejection pulse applied to the element upon ejecting subsequent, second ejection droplets. The first ejection pulse excites the liquid inside the pressure chamber to pressure vibration and then allows the element to eject liquid droplets from the nozzles when the pressure of the liquid inside the pressure chamber reaches a predetermined pressure. The second ejection pulse excites the liquid to pressure vibration and then allows the element to eject the liquid droplets from the nozzles at certain time when the pressure of the liquid becomes lower than the predetermined pressure.

    摘要: A toner cartridge includes a toner container that contains a toner, an auger screw, a toner discharge port, a shutter, an internal opening/closing valve and a stirring paddle. The internal opening/closing valve is provided as a member for closing the toner discharge port, in addition to the shutter. The shutter is fixed to a position at which the toner discharge port is always opened in a state where the toner cartridge is mounted in the image forming apparatus. The internal opening/closing valve is provided at a position facing the toner discharge port of a driving side end of a rotation shaft of the auger screw. The internal opening/closing valve is composed of a rectangular sheet member having flexibility, and closes the toner discharge port by blocking the entire toner discharge port.
