摘要: Provided are novel biocompatible copolymers, compositions comprising the copolymers, and methods of using the copolymers. The copolymers are non-toxic and typically have an LCST below 37° C. Compositions comprising the copolymers can be used for wound treatment, as a cellular growth matrix or niche and for injection into cardiac tissue to repair and mechanically support damaged tissue. The copolymers comprise numerous ester linkages so that the copolymers are erodible in situ. Degradation products of the copolymers are soluble and non-toxic. The copolymers can be amine-reactive so that they can conjugate with proteins, such as collagen. Active ingredients, such as drugs, can be incorporated into compositions comprising the copolymers.

摘要: There is disclosed a composition comprising a water-insoluble thermoplastic compound capable of stimulating collagen synthesis (CSSC), the CSSC having a molecular weight of more than 0.6 kDa and being dispersed in a polar carrier as nano-elements having an average diameter of 200 nm or less and a viscosity of 107 mPa·s or less. The nano-elements of CSSC can be capable of stimulating the synthesis of skin proteins and/or enabling the delivery of active agents upon their application to a surface to be treated therewith. Methods for preparing the compositions and uses thereof are also provided.

摘要: The present invention relates to a consumer goods product comprising a consumer goods product ingredient and a functionalized lignin oligomer, wherein the functionalized lignin oligomer: (a) comprises less than 1 wt % sulphur content; (b) has a number average molecular weight (Mn) of from 800 Da to 1,800 Da; and (c) comprises at least one functional group selected from carboxyl, ketone, aldehyde, amino and quaternary ammonium, wherein only one type of functional group selected from the group consisting of list is present at a level of at least 0.8 mmol/g, and wherein if any other functional group selected from the group consisting of list is present, it is present at a level of below 0.8 mmol/g, wherein the lignin oligomer is derived from corn, sugar cane, wheat and any combination thereof, and wherein the consumer goods product is selected from an oral care composition, an antiseptic cream, or a detergent composition.

摘要: Disclosed is a bolus for oral administration to an animal, the bolus comprising at least one beneficial substance to be delivered to the animal, the bolus comprising two components which are adhered together by a water-soluble adhesive or sealant, such that the two components are separable in vivo, and wherein at least one of the aforesaid components is frangible in vivo, the frangible component being initially stabilised by the adherence thereto of the other of the aforesaid components, such that separation of the two components in vivo facilitates the breakage of the frangible component.

摘要: Simple mixing/blending of a special class of drug-depot forming tri-block copolymers polymers, with the opportunity to cost-effectively tailor drug delivery performances of such biodegradable, injectable depots in a clinical and an industrial setting. How to visualize these depots for various imaging related purposes is described. A composition comprising (a) an active ingredient, preferably a pharmaceutically active ingredient (b) a solvent and (c) a mixture of at least two types of tri-block copolymers of formula (1) B-A-B (1) wherein B stands for a hydrophobic block and wherein A stands for a hydrophilic block, wherein the mixture is prepared by mixing at least two types of tri-block copolymers having a degree of modification of 100% and wherein the at least two types of B-A-B types of tri-block copolymers differ only on the type of end-group or wherein the mixture is prepared by mixing at least two types of tri-block copolymers, wherein one of the at least two tri-block copolymers has a degree of modification of 100% and one of the at least two tri-block copolymers has a degree of modification of 0% and wherein the at least two types of B-A-B types of tri-block copolymers differ only on the degree of modification of the end-groups.

摘要: An oral formulation, and preparation method and use thereof; the oral formulation comprises 1-50 parts by weight of an A-nor-5a-androstane compound, 20-95 parts by weight of a filling agent, 0-20 parts by weight of a disintegrant, 0.1-30 parts by weight of a binder, 0.1-5 parts by weight of a lubricant and 0.1-5 parts by weight of a glidant. The oral formulation has a high stability and a good dissolution performance.
