    Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods of cultivating genetically altered plants with increased activity of one or more of a NODULATION SIGNALING PATHWAY 1 (NSP1) protein or a NODULATION SIGNALING PATHWAY 2 (NSP2) protein that have increased mycorrhization and/or promoted symbiotic responses under high phosphate and/or high nitrate conditions. Further aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods of cultivating genetically altered plants with increased activity of a C-TERMINALLY ENCODED PEPTIDE (CEP peptide) that have increased mycorrhization and/or promoted symbiotic responses under high phosphate and/or high nitrate conditions. In addition, aspects of the present disclosure relate to methods of cultivating these plants that include exogenous application of strigolactones, karrikins, and/or CEP peptides to increase mycorrhization and/or promote symbiotic responses under specific nutrient conditions.

    Abstract: [Problem to be solved] To provide a drug delivery system capable of delivering a drug into a cell expressing a VEGF receptor.[Solution] Provided is a VEGF-binding peptide-drug complex in which a drug is bound to a C-terminal amino acid and/or an N-terminal amino acid of a VEGF-binding peptide and is incorporated into a VEGF receptor-expressing cell by endocytosis of a VEGF receptor, the VEGF-binding peptide having a helix-loop-helix structure including an A block that includes a peptide forming an α-helix structure and is positioned on an N-terminal side, a C block that includes a peptide forming an α-helix structure and is positioned on a C-terminal side, and a B block that includes a peptide linking the A block and the C block by a covalent bond.
