    摘要: The present invention relates to papermaking belts useful in the manufacture of paper products, such as tissue paper. Particularly this invention relates to a papermaking belt used in a through-air drying process for making tissue products, and more particularly to a belt having a particular pattern thereon which imparts properties to tissue products manufactured therewith. In some embodiments, the belt can be seamless. The belt can include a first web contacting area defining a first plane and a second web contacting area defining a second plane. The second plane can be above the first plane. The first web contacting area and the second web contacting area comprise a plurality of channels that extend from the web contacting side to the machine contacting side of the seamless papermaking belt.

    摘要: A seam for joining together the ends of woven fabric to form an endless belt is particularly suitable for joining the ends of woven synthetic dryer fabrics as used in the dryer section of paper making machines and is particularly applicable to joining the ends of those dryer fabrics in at least the machine direction of the fabric. A papermaking fabric comprising a woven fabric body having opposing ends, said fabric body having a system of MD-yarns interwoven with a system of CD yarns. The MD-yarns include first pairs of MD-yarns, second pairs of MD-yarns and third pairs of MD-yarns and the first and the second pairs of MD-yarns form two seam loops, while the third MD-yarns forms the binder. The loops are at identical length to each other over the whole fabric width. Such seam construction reduces marking and increases the seam strength and seam abrasion resistance.

    摘要: An innovative papermaking belt is disclosed. The papermaking belt has a framework and a reinforcing structure. The framework has a first surface defining a paper-contacting side of the papermaking belt, a second surface opposite the first surface, and conduits extending between the first and second surfaces. The reinforcing structure is positioned between the first surface and at least a portion of the second surface. The reinforcing structure comprises a plurality of machine direction warp yarns interwoven with a plurality of cross-machine direction weft yarns. At least one of the machine direction warp yarns further comprises a measuring device.

    摘要: A papermaker's through-air dryer (TAD) fabric for use in the production of tissue and towel products. The fabric is woven according to a 10-shed, semi-duplex weave design in which the warp and weft yarns are arranged so as to form pockets of at least two differing sizes in a first planar fabric surface. The pockets are designed and arranged to impart a measure of bulk and absorbency to the paper products conveyed thereon by providing MD oriented recesses in the PS fabric surface into which a portion of the component fibers of the paper products formed on the fabric are deflected during manufacture.

    摘要: A papermaking dryer fabric has a system of MD yarns interwoven with a system of CMD yarns in a single layer weave. The MD yarns have groups each formed of a plurality of adjacent MD yarns weaving in the group side-by-side the same weave path with the CMD yarns. The dryer fabric is flat woven with seaming loops at the widthwise edges of the fabric to make it endless. At least some of the seaming loops are formed by at least some MD yarns of the groups of MD yarns. The MD yarns forming the groups of MD yarns have a circular cross section and the CMD yarns are ungrouped CMD yarns and at least some of said CMD yarns have a non-circular cross section with a width to height ratio of more than 1. The dryer fabric has an air permeability between 25 cfm and 200 cfm.
