摘要： An easily serviceable liquid filter assembly having a housing with a drain to provide draining of fluid (e.g., liquid) from the housing. The filter assembly has a fluid inlet to receive dirty fluid into the housing, a fluid outlet to expel filtered fluid from the housing, and a drain, when open, to expel unfiltered (dirty) fluid from the housing. By removing a cover from the housing, the filter element opens the drain so that all fluid in the housing can be directly collected or can flow into the oil pan to be collected with the fluid present in the pan. All fluid, now in the drain pan, can be drained and collected in a disposable container such as a plastic pouch, which can be recycled. The filter element can be removed from the housing via the removed cover.

The annular filter body may surround a cylindrical inner space. The plurality of centring elements may be arranged distributed in a circumferential direction of the filter body around the first plate opening, protrude axially into the inner space, and respectively have a chamfer. The positioning web may be arranged on at least one of the upper end plate and the inner frame in the circumferential direction between two centring elements of the plurality of centring elements and extend parallel to the two centring elements.

An oil cooler and an oil filter are mounted on the base for component mounting, and the base attaching seat is provided with an oil inlet communicating with an upstream-side passage of the oil gallery, and an oil outlet communicating with a downstream-side passage of the oil gallery. Attaching the base for component mounting to the base attaching seat allows engine oil flowing into the oil inlet of the base attaching seat from the upstream-side passage of the oil gallery to pass the base for component mounting, the oil cooler, and the oil filter, and flow out of the oil outlet of the base attaching seat to the downstream-side passage of the oil gallery.

摘要： An engine oil filter conversion assembly is provided for allowing a user to replace a standard canister oil filter with an assembly that facilitates removal and replacement of the internal paper filter element therein. The assembly comprises a housing similar to a canister oil filter, wherein the canister includes removably attached components such that the internal filter element is accessible, whereby the filter element can be replaced during an oil change instead of the complete canister. The purpose of the present invention is to reduce waste and allow the filter element only to be discarded, while facilitating quick access to the filter element and providing an assembly that can replace canister oil filters on modern internal combustion engines. The assembly comprises a baseplate, a louvered center tube, a removable filter element, a filter housing, a lower end seal and a joining fastener.

摘要： An oil filter reservoir includes a reservoir housing having a filter, which divides the housing into an oil inlet chamber and an oil outlet chamber. A housing inlet and a housing outlet circulate oil in and out of the reservoir housing. The filter includes a permeable wall and a bypass valve, which releases the increased oil pressure and volume in the inlet chamber during cold temperature operation. A baffle in the outlet chamber is spaced apart from the bypass valve and permits limited oil flow through the baffle. The baffle separates the outlet chamber into a reserve chamber and a bypass chamber.
