    摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to improve cooling efficiency of a cylinder head of an air-cooled engine.With regard to the construction that a cooling fan is provided at one of ends of a crankshaft, and cooling air from the cooling fan is guided to a cylinder head 4 so as to cool the cylinder head 4, an intake manifold 8 is arranged above the cooling fan, a duct 51 is provided at the lateral center of the intake manifold 8 so as to suck air from an air cleaner, cooling air is sent from both sides of the duct 51 to an intake valve, an exhaust valve and an injection nozzle arranged in the cylinder head 4, and a shielding plate 55 is provided at one of lateral sides of the duct 51.

    摘要： A snow blower is provided that includes a muffler and a heater box that has a top wall. The heater box has a plurality of side walls that extend from the top wall. The top wall and side walls define an interior of the heater box. One of the side walls defines a muffler aperture for use in venting exhaust gases from the muffler. The muffler is at least partially located in the interior of the heater box so that the side walls of the heater box surround at least a portion of all of the sides of the muffler.

    摘要： The claimed invention relates to a device for preheating of the inlet air to a combustion engine that powers a portable tool. The preheating of the air is activated when the surrounding temperature is low and deactivated when there is no need for preheating of the inlet air. When the preheating is activated is the air led through a first channel (14) that is integrated in the wall of a crankcase (10) so that the air is heated. When there is no need for preheating is the inlet air lead via a second channel (16) placed outside the crankcase (10).

    摘要： The invention is directed to an arrangement for controlling the intake air for the carburetor of a hand-held portable tool such as a motor-driven chain saw or the like. During winter operation, the cooling air that is heated by the engine cylinder is carried through a pass-through opening to the carburetor. During summer operation the pass-through opening is blocked by a slide that is pivotally mounted on a pivot axis. The slide selectively opens or closes the pass-through opening and is configured as a deflector which, in its open position baffles the heated cooling air from the engine cylinder and guides it toward the carburetor.
