摘要: A dense-phase powder pump for conveying powder-type materials, in particular coating powder, includes at least one powder conveying chamber with a filter element that has at least regions thereof accommodated in a casing body and at least one pinch valve that is or can be connected to an end region of the powder conveying chamber. In particular, the pinch valve includes a valve element with at least regions that are sleeve-like, wherein the peripheral wall thereof can be squeezed together transverse to the valve element longitudinal axis in order to change the through-flow cross-section, and also includes a substantially tubular support structure, in which at least regions of the valve element are accommodated, wherein the support structure consists of multiple shell elements which are arranged one after another around the peripheral wall in the peripheral direction of the peripheral wall of the valve element, each having an arched cross-section, and which are placed on the outside of the valve element in a radial direction relative to the valve element longitudinal axis.

摘要: A membrane vacuum pump has at least one working space which is bounded by a membrane deformable to change the size of the working space and by a wall in which at least one inlet and at least one outlet are formed for a medium which is sucked into the working space which increases in size in so doing in a suction phase and is expelled via the outlet from the working space which decreases in size in so doing in a compression phase. The membrane vacuum pump furthermore has a controllable actuator unit for deforming the membrane by a contactless action on the membrane by means of electrical and/or magnetic fields.

摘要: A Venturi pump used for sucking powder from a supply, diluting the same, then feeding it to a gun via a conveyor pipe. The pump comprises an outer body, at least one powder suction duct, at least two air connections, of which a first air connection is capable of supplying an injector to create a vacuum inside the suction duct and a second air connection is capable of supplying a dilution air circuit separate from the powder flow. The pump including at least one powder outlet nozzle centered on an axis of diffusion, the inlet of which is located downstream from the first air connection and the suction duct. At least one protection barrier contains a non-return valve disposed inside the dilution air circuit and at least one outlet tip of the dilution circuit disposed around the nozzle and also connected to the conveyor pipe.

摘要: A piston is movable to reciprocate in a chamber. The piston has a transfer check valve which permits condiment flow only in a direction from an inlet side of the chamber to an outlet side of the chamber. The inlet side of the chamber includes an inlet coupled to a condiment source. The outlet side of the chamber includes an outlet with an outlet check valve. When the piston is moved from the outlet side to the inlet side of the chamber, the transfer check valve is open to permit condiment flow from the inlet side to the outlet side of the chamber, and the outlet check valve is closed to accumulate condiment therein. Upon accumulation of a desired amount of condiment in the outlet side of the chamber, the piston is moved from the inlet side to the outlet side of the chamber. During that time, the transfer check valve is closed and the outlet check valve is open to dispense the accumulated condiment in the outlet side of the chamber. At the same time, condiment is flowed into inlet side of the chamber. The amount of condiment transferred to the outlet side of the chamber is determined by the piston stroke, and can be controlled to produce a consistent amount for each cycle of accumulating and dispensing condiment. The cycle is repeated to provide dispensing action with simple portion control. The outlet check valve and transfer check valve may be elastomeric check valves.

摘要: A ring valve assembly for use in a reciprocating type fluid pump with a piston cylinder and a cylinder head is disclosed. The valve assembly includes a ring valve having a fluid seal surface for a selectively closing a fluid passage of a cylinder head and bias means for the ring valve for urging the ring valve in a first direction. The bias means includes the outer peripheral edge region of the ring valve being secured between opposing upper and lower annular surfaces with a predetermined smaller clearance. The upper annular surface includes an outer edge and the lower annular surface includes an inner edge which defines a fulcrum radially inward of the outer edge. The ring valve undergoes first and second stages of deflection during operation, wherein the ring valve is vertically displaced a distance equal to the predetermined small clearance against only one of the upper or lower annular surfaces in the first stage of deflection and the ring valve pivots about the inner edge and deforms into the shape of a cone about the fulcrum in the second stage of deflection. A third stage of deflection is also provided in which the ring valve is restrained between the inner edge and outer edge of the lower and upper annular surfaces, respectively, thereby increasing the stiffness of the intake valve in the third stage of deflection.

摘要: A header and a pump end for a cryogenic pump are provided for efficient liquid pumping operation. The header directs supplied liquid into a sump and gas into a freeboard. The liquid in the header can be distributed along the header and decanted over a weir to the sump, the liquid being drawn from the sump and up through the vessel to the pump end. Gas in the freeboard is collected for venting or return to the liquid source. Pump head plunger stroke can be lengthened and operated at slower stroke rates using a large cross-sectional area intake and discharge valves. Plunger seals, supported as a seal pack in a sleeve, are field installable over the plunger. A plunger to drive shim arrangement permits filed adjustment of the stroke.
