The device comprises a chassis, a movable loading element movably coupled to the chassis and configured to move between a first and a second position, a holding structure, the holding structure being floatingly coupled to the movable loading element, the holding structure being configured to hold a receptacle for material to be loaded into the automated analysis system, a first alignment element attached to the chassis and a second alignment element attached to the holding structure. The first alignment element is configured to engage with the second alignment element to align the holding structure in a predetermined position relative to the chassis when the movable loading element is in the second position.

摘要： A device for container storing is presented. The device comprises storage with at least one storing level including a pipetting storing level for fluid pipetting. Each storing level has storing positions having a container holder to detachably hold at least one container. A handler is movable with respect to the storage for transferring containers with respect to the storing positions. A storing position of the pipetting storing level includes a flat spring to bias a container against the container holder. The flat spring has a through hole to provide a pipette access to a lid of the container. A system for pipetting is also presented, comprising the device and a pipettor movable with respect to the pipetting storing level with at least one pipette for pipetting contained in a container stored in the pipetting storing level. The pipette has a pipette tip to penetrate a lid of the container.

Wherein, by relative displacement, the first and second reagent container cassettes are displaceable between the storage configuration and a use configuration in which a transverse side of the first reagent container cassette is facing a transverse side of the second reagent container cassette.

摘要： A filter assembly for separating and collecting a layer of particulate matter (e.g., cells) from a liquid containing the particulate matter (e.g., a biological fluid specimen). The filter assembly has a holder and contiguous inner and outer fluid pervious media. The outer fluid pervious medium is attached to the sidewall of the holder. The inner fluid pervious medium is of low fluidic impedance relative to the outer fluid pervious medium. The filter assembly is designed for use in a separation housing that defines two flow paths between inlet and outlet, one directly through the filter and the other around the periphery of the filter. The inlet portion of the housing has a central inlet in a radially sloped surface that faces the filter collection site. A movable suction head is adapted to cooperate with the housing and the filter assembly.
