摘要: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for operating drones beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS), comprising receiving a first image stream captured by one or more imaging sensors mounted on a first drone and operated to monitor a companion second drone flying within visual line of sight of the first drone, receiving a second image stream captured by one or more imaging sensors mounted on the second drone and operated to monitor the first drone flying within visual line of sight of the second drone, operating the second drone based on analysis of the first image stream in which the second drone and its vicinity are continuously tracked, and operating the first drone based on analysis of the second image stream in which the first drone and its vicinity are continuously tracked.

摘要: Systems and methods of manipulating/controlling robots. In many scenarios, data collected by a sensor (connected to a robot) may not have very high precision (e.g., a regular commercial/inexpensive sensor) or may be subjected to dynamic environmental changes. Thus, the data collected by the sensor may not indicate the parameter captured by the sensor with high accuracy. The present robotic control system is directed at such scenarios. In some embodiments, the disclosed embodiments can be used for computing a sliding velocity limit boundary for a spatial controller. In some embodiments, the disclosed embodiments can be used for teleoperation of a vehicle located in the field of view of a camera.

In one aspect, a computer-implemented method for receiving latency-tolerant assistance of an AV can include receiving sensory data from the AV; detecting from the sensory data a trigger for assistance; generating a request for assistance including at least a portion of the sensory data of the AV; receiving, in response to the request for assistance, an operator command for responding to the trigger for assistance; and initiating one or more actuation commands via an actuation subsystem of the AV in response to the received operator command.

摘要: The assisted navigation system is intended to enable an assisted operation mode in ground mobile robots. The system is designed to achieve an autonomous relocation of a robot from one location to another location within a sidewalk, minimizing the need for constant human intervention. The system includes a camera for collecting the visual data needed to assess the terrain and potential obstacles, a collection of sensors to detect potential obstacles during assisted operations, a communication module to receive inputs from a remote operator to enable the activation of this system, a localization module for teleoperations, a local server module to store the information gathered, a processor configured to operate a robot in an assisted mode of operation based on input from the communication interface in which the robot performs a task without human intervention, and a communication interface coupled to the processor and configured to communicate control values to the systems of the mobile robot.

摘要: This disclosure presents an assisted driving vehicle system, including autonomous, semi-autonomous, and technology assisted vehicles, that can share sensor data among two or more controllers. A sensor can have one communication channel to a controller, thereby saving cabling and circuitry costs. The data from the sensor can be sent from one controller to another controller to enable redundancy and backup in case of a system failure. Sensor data from more than one sensor can be aggregated at one controller prior to the aggregated sensor data being communicated to another controller thereby saving bandwidth and reducing transmission times. The sharing of sensor data can be enabled through the use of a sensor data distributor, such as a converter, repeater, or a serializer/deserializer set located as part of the controller and communicatively coupled to another such device in another controller using a data interface communication channel.

摘要: A method is provided for simplifying a takeover of control of a motor vehicle by a vehicle-external operator. In the method, images of the surroundings of the vehicle are captured from the vehicle and semantically segmented. Errors in a corresponding segmentation model are predicted on the basis of at least one such image each. If a corresponding error prediction triggering a request for the takeover of control is made, an image-based visualization is automatically generated in which exactly one region corresponding to the error prediction is visually highlighted. The request and the visualization are then sent to the vehicle-external operator.

摘要: A drone monitoring and control system includes: a drone, a mobile vehicle configured to carry the drone, a computing device and a display device. The drone is disposed with an operation payload and a camera. The drone performs an output operation of the operation payload. The computing device outputs a first environment image according to a first image captured by the camera, generates a flight trajectory of the drone and a movement trajectory of the mobile vehicle according to an operation data set including a target location of a target object and 3D terrain data, controls the drone to move to a set location according to the flight trajectory, and controls the drone to stay at the set location when a distance between the target and set locations is less than a preset distance. The display device displays the first environment image and the 3D terrain data.

摘要: A server apparatus includes a communicator and a remote processor. The communicator receives position data of a vehicle traveling on a road. The remote processor generates travel control data, based on the received position data and transmits the travel control data. The remote processor executes a stop line process and a correction data generation process. The stop line process generates travel control data that is adapted to stop the vehicle at a position where a stop line on the road is capturable by a vehicle-mounted camera after the vehicle is stopped. The correction data generation process generates, based on a captured position of the stop line in the image captured by the vehicle-mounted camera after the vehicle is stopped, correction data that is adapted to correct a vehicle position. The remote processor corrects the vehicle position data received by the communicator and generates the travel control data for the vehicle.
