摘要: A system and method for managing the contents of a medical storage container such as a tray that has a required inventory of medical articles. A Faraday cage enclosure is used to isolate, scan, and inventory the container. The container and each of the medical articles in the container have a respective RFID tag. A processor is programmed to retrieve the inventory list for the container based on its tag and compare the actual contents of the container according to their tags to the inventory list. Missing items and extra items are noted.

摘要: Certain embodiments are directed to a method, system, or apparatus, such as a medical imaging device. The method can include retrieving data from a worksheet or form repository server. The data can include one or more fields of a customized worksheet or form. The one or more fields can be based on at least one of an identification of a user, a location of the medical imaging device, or a medical department using the medical imaging device. The method can also include recreating the customized worksheet or form at the medical imaging device based on the received data, and displaying the recreated customized worksheet or form on a graphical user interface connected to the medical imaging device. In addition, the method can include producing a medical image via the medical imaging device, and automatically forwarding the customized worksheet or form and the medical image to a billable workflow or an educational workflow.

摘要: Medical software tools platforms utilize a surgical display to provide access to specific medical software tools, such as medically-oriented applications or widgets, that can assist surgeons or surgical team in performing various procedures. In particular, an endoscopic camera may register the momentary rise in the optical signature reflected from a tissue surface and in turn transmit it to a medical image processing system which can also receive patient heart rate data and display relevant anomalies. Changes in various spectral components and the speed at which they change in relation to a source of stimulus (heartbeat, breathing, light source modulation, etc.) may indicate the arrival of blood, contrast agents or oxygen absorption. Combinations of these may indicate various states of differing disease or margins of tumors, and so forth. Also, changes in temperatures, physical dimensions, pressures, photoacoustic pressures and the rate of change may indicate tissue anomalies in comparison to historic values.

摘要: A method for tracking prescriptive medications is provided whereby a complete prescriptive medication history including active and inactive prescriptive medications is stored for a plurality of patients utilizing a plurality of pharmacies wherein the pharmacies may be affiliated or unaffiliated. The information may be selectively retrieved through a secure computer connection by entities such as hospitals, doctors, pharmacies, insurance companies, government agencies and the like. The information may be utilized to benefit the patient whereby a doctor is able to obtain an accurate view of the complete prescriptive medication history of the patient including prescriptive medications by other doctors. Hospitals will be able to obtain, in accord with the invention, a prescriptive medication history prior to treatment such as emergency treatment where such information is not normally available. The stored data for each prescriptive medication transaction includes searchable data such as the patient's name, address, doctor, pharmacy, aberrant use flag, and the like.

摘要: A method and system for interacting with a wearable device is provided. The method includes detecting, by a first wearable device of a first user, a body attachment band of a second wearable device of a second user physically interlinked with a body attachment band of the first wearable device. In response, operational attributes of the first wearable device are activated and a specified configuration between the body attachment band of the first wearable device and the body attachment band of the second wearable device is detected. Specified actions associated with the operational attributes are determined and a specified action is executed with respect to a first operational attribute. The specified action is executed with respect to the first wearable device and the second wearable device.

摘要: In various example embodiments, a system and methods are presented for converting query structures for information retrieval from graph-based data structures. The systems and methods receive a natural language query including a set of terms and generate an intermediate semantic relationship of the set of terms of the natural language query. The systems and methods generate a graph query including graph terms corresponding to the set of terms of the natural language query defined by a graph database. The systems and methods search one or more datasets associated with the graph database using the graph query and return a set of results based on the graph query.
