摘要: A card is provided, such as a credit card or security card, that may transmit information to a magnetic stripe reader via a magnetic emulator. The emulator may transmit the information in order to reduce the amount of circuitry needed to emulate a particular block of information. Additionally, for example, one or more buttons may be included on the card. Buttons may be includes, for example, to provide a control interface to navigate through various options of the card. Additionally, coding schemes may be selected via buttons. Furthermore, a card may be locked until a private number is entered into a card or a number may only be generated (e.g., displayed and/or emulated) once a particular private number is entered into a card.

摘要: A method of detection of unauthorized intervention into an identification structure is provided. The method includes configuring the identification structure such that the identification structure interacts with the intervention such as a physical intervention, or mechanical intervention, or electrical intervention. Further, the method involves propagating the intervention along the identification structure in such a control as to cause a detectable alteration in any predetermined attributes associated with the identification structure including a physical attribute, mechanical attribute, electrical attribute, and an optical attribute. Finally, the alteration in the attributes is detected by visual, electrical, or optical assessments or a combination of assessments.

摘要: In some implementations, a device may obtain video and/or lidar data relating to a physical card captured while the physical card is flipped from a first side of the physical card to a second side of the physical card. The device may determine an authenticity of the physical card, where the authenticity of the physical card is based at least in part on one or more physical characteristics of the physical card identifiable from the video and/or the lidar data. The one or more physical characteristics may relate to a thickness of the physical card, a length and width of the physical card, a shape of the physical card, and/or a design feature of the physical card. The device may cause, based on a determination that the physical card is authentic, information associated with the physical card to be transmitted or stored to be used in connection with a transaction.

The smart card can communicate with various terminals and store a digital signature and other information on the card. Another terminal can validate the information stored on the smart card using the digital signature. In certain embodiments, the terminal can also validate the information by using a blockchain. The advanced design of the smart card obviates the need for a network connection.

摘要: The present disclosure is directed to a contactless card including an actuation security structure that is actuated to provide authorization in accessing identifying information on an integrated circuit within the contactless card. In at least one embodiment, the actuation security structure includes a pair of conductive layers and a pair of electrodes. Ends of the pair of conductive layers overlap respective ones of the pair of electrodes. The ends of the pair of conductive layers are at and in a first elastically deformable region and the respective ones of the pair of electrodes are at and in a second elastically deformable region. An owner of the contactless card may provide authorization to access the identification information on the contactless card by applying force to both the first and second elastically deformable regions inward resulting in the ends of the conductive layers moving into electrical communication with the pair of electrodes.

摘要: A connector that is configured to receive a smart card includes: a first contact configured to receive a power supply voltage and corresponding to a first (power supply) contact area of the smart card, a second contact configured to receive a reference voltage and corresponding to contact a second (reference voltage) contact area of the smart card, and a third contact corresponding to a three-state (input/output) contact area of the smart card. A first light-emitting diode having an anode coupled to the third contact and a cathode coupled to the second contact. A second light-emitting diode has a cathode coupled to the third contact and an anode coupled to the first contact. Turning on/off of the first and second light-emitting diode is controlled by the smart card through the signal at the three-state (input/output) contact area.
