摘要： A packaging structure for depression switches includes an electronic substrate containing at least one switch electrode, a push-on switch located on the electronic substrate to connect the switch electrode to generate a command signal and a sealing member. The push-on switch and the electronic substrate form a first air chamber between them. The sealing member has a fastening portion to seal the push-on switch on the electronic substrate and a second air chamber formed with the electronic substrate to communicate with the first air chamber. By depressing the push-on switch to connect the switch electrode, air held in the first air chamber is squeezed and flows to the second air chamber without escaping.

摘要： A radio operated data card whose outer jacket forms a sealed protected housing for internal electrical components, including an RFID integrated circuit which incorporates data storage and a radio frequency transceiver, and one or more on-card antenna structures. Manually operated electrical switching elements, or antenna structures which are responsive to the positioning of conductive members, such as the human hand, at particular locations on or near the surface of the card, are connected to the on-card electronic circuitry. The switching elements or antenna elements are selectively operated by the cardholder who manipulates the card in predetermined ways to generate data signals that may be used to activate the card, store data in the card, or transmit data to the reader. The switching elements and/or an adjacent conductive element may alter the resonant frequency, Q or gain of the antenna circuit, and these changes in the characteristics of the antenna circuit may be detected either on the card or at the reader to enable the cardholder to activate the card or enter data. Switching elements and/or antenna structures may be organized as a keypad or the like, and control signals created in response to the position or timing of touch events which characterize the cardholder's manipulation of the card.

The noncontact IC card is kept inoperative unless the short-circuiting circuit is opened and the noncontact IC card is rendered operative when the short-circuiting circuit is opened. The short-circuiting circuit is formed to extend across a main part and a removable identification part included in the base card. The short-circuiting circuit can be opened by removing the identification part from the base card.

摘要： An interactive tabular display system having thin membrane switches positioned on the display surface around the periphery. The switches are categorized as select or function depending on the particular application software program in use. Touching one of the select switches causes a cursor to be displayed in the row adjacent to that switch; automatically, the cursor incrementally advances across that row sequentially underlining data items. When the switch is opened, the data item underlined is displayed in reverse video and additional data related to that item is displayed elsewhere on the display. The switches are provided with backlighting to provide illuminated touch points for use in dimly lit operational rooms.

摘要： The present disclosure is directed to a contactless card including an actuation security structure that is actuated to provide authorization in accessing identifying information on an integrated circuit within the contactless card. In at least one embodiment, the actuation security structure includes a pair of conductive layers and a pair of electrodes. Ends of the pair of conductive layers overlap respective ones of the pair of electrodes. The ends of the pair of conductive layers are at and in a first elastically deformable region and the respective ones of the pair of electrodes are at and in a second elastically deformable region. An owner of the contactless card may provide authorization to access the identification information on the contactless card by applying force to both the first and second elastically deformable regions inward resulting in the ends of the conductive layers moving into electrical communication with the pair of electrodes.
