A dispensing assembly for a pressure dispense package includes a connector having separate and distinct liquid and extraction conduits, and having a pressurization gas conduit. A liner fitment adapter may include a longitudinal bore to receive a probe portion of a connector defining a liquid extraction conduit, and may include a lateral bore to enable removal of gas. Insertion of a connector into a dispensing assembly simultaneously makes fluidic connections between (a) a gas extraction conduit and a dispensing volume; (b) a liquid extraction conduit and the dispensing volume, and (c) a pressurization gas conduit and a space to be pressurized within a pressure dispense vessel. Presence of fluid or change in phase of flowing fluid within a fluid circuit may be sensed by comparing outputs of first and second temperature sensing elements, with one sensing element including a heater to increase temperature of the sensing element in exposure to gas but not in exposure to liquid. A system and method for fluid dispensing includes a first pressure dispense apparatus and a sensing element arranged to sense a condition correlative of approach to gas saturation of dispensed fluid, and in response to such sensed condition initiates dispensation by a second pressure dispense apparatus for combining pressure dispensed fluid flows supplied to a point of use.

Systems and methods for adjusting the heating value of liquefied natural gas ("LNG") are provided. LNG can be apportioned into at least two portions. A first portion can be warmed to provide a vapor-liquid mixture which can be separated in a first separator to provide a first vapor and a first liquid. The first liquid can be separated to provide ANGL and a second vapor. The first vapor can be compressed and mixed with the second vapor to provide a first effluent. At least a portion of the first effluent can be used to heat the first portion. At least a portion of the first effluent can be used as a first reflux in the first separator. At least a portion of the first effluent can be mixed with a second portion of the LNG to provide an adjusted LNG.

A primary stream of boiled-off natural gas taken from the ullage space (6) of a liquefied natural gas storage vessel (2) is compressed by a compressor (12). A flow of liquefied natural gas taken from the storage vessel (2) is partially and forcedly vaporised in a vaporiser (36) so as to form a secondary stream of natural gas containing unvaporised liquefied natural gas. Unvaporised liquefied natural gas is disengaged from the secondary stream in a phase separator (42). The secondary stream is mixed with the compressed primary stream to form a supply of natural gas fuel. The fuel supply may be formed and used on board an ocean-going LNG tanker.

A polymeric, coaxial transfer line is utilized where a first portion of the cryogenic fluid flows through the inner tube while a second portion flows through an annulus between the inner tube and outer tube which annulus is at a lower pressure than the inside tube. In one embodiment, the inner tube is substantially non-porous and the transfer line is preceded by a flow control means to distribute at least part of the first and second portions of the cryogenic fluid to the inner tube and annulus respectively. In a second embodiment, the inner tube is porous with respect to both gas permeation and liquid permeation such that both a gaseous part and a liquid part of the first portion permeates into the annulus to form at least a part of the second portion.

A method for storage and transport of LPG on LPG carriers, in particular two cargoes of different LPG types on same shipment, having reliquefaction units (300, 400) in which vaporized gases are condensed and then returned into at least one cargo tank (100) for the respective LPG cargo type. The method is further comprising: using the reliquefaction units (300, 400), at a minimum one running, as to condense vapour from the first cargo type; passing the condensed vapour through a heat exchanger (500); simultaneously flowing vapour from the second cargo type through the heat exchanger (500) as to condense vapour by means of heat exchanging with the condensed vapour; and returning the condensed vapours leaving the heat exchanger back into the respective cargo types. The present invention is also disclosing a system for storage and transport of LPG on LPG carriers.

A process and apparatus is provided for reducing the heating value of imported LNG by removing natural gas liquid products while condensing boil-off gas. The LNG is pumped from a storage container and is then heated by cross exchange to a dew point temperature. A portion of this heated LNG is sent out to be vaporized while the remaining portion is further heated by cross exchange with demethanizer overhead vapors and is then sent as feed to the demethanizer. NGL is recovered at the bottom of the demethanizer, and the overhead vapors are mixed with boil off gas coming from the LNG storage container. These mixed vapors are condensed by cross exchanging with the LNG feed portion and then pumped to pipeline pressure and sent to the gas pipeline through the vaporizers.
