The body includes a housing arranged in a first direction and including at least four housing sidewalls and an opening defined by the housing sidewalls and configured to receive a battery pack, a propeller support extending a specific distance from each housing sidewall in a second direction away from the center of the housing and perpendicular to the first direction and having, on a distal end, a motor and a propeller connected to the motor, and a PCB disposed on at least one of the housing sidewalls and associated with operating the motor and the propeller.

An item may have a flexible support structure and may include a flexible component. The flexible component may have electrical components mounted on component mounting regions in a flexible circuit substrate. The component mounting regions may be interconnected by serpentine interconnect paths or other flexible interconnect paths. The flexible circuit substrate and component mounting regions may extend along a longitudinal axis of the flexible component or may form a two-dimensional array. Two-dimensional mesh-shaped flexible circuit substrates may be used in forming displays. The mesh-shaped flexible circuit substrates may be auxetic substrates that widen when stretched (e.g., structures with a negative Poisson's ratio that become thicker perpendicular to applied force when stretched) and that therefore reduce image distortion. Temporary tethers may help hold flexible circuit substrates together until intentionally broken following assembly of a flexible component into the flexible support structure.

A modular deformable electronics platform is attachable to a deformable surface, such as skin. The platform is tolerant to surface deformation and motion, can flex in and out of a plane of the platform without hindering operability of electrical components included on the platform, and is formed via arrangement of discrete flexible tiles, with corners of adjacent tiles connected by a flexible connection material so that individual tiles can translate and rotate relative to each other. Interconnects disposed on bases of separate tiles electrically connect adjacent tiles via their connected corners, and electrically connect components disposed on different tiles. Each pair of adjacent corner connections defines an axis about which at least a portion of the platform can flex without deformation and without hindering connections between tiles. The flexible material and/or bases of the tiles can include Parylene.

Disclosed herein is a display apparatus that reduces a magnitude of a tension applied to a flexible PCB when a display panel is provided with a curved surface, and prevents damage of a driving chip. The display apparatus in accordance with exemplary embodiments includes a display panel configured to display an image, a source printed circuit board configured to control the display panel, and a flexible PCB that connects the display panel and the source printed circuit board. A length of at least one side edge of the flexible PCB is formed longer than a minimum length from the display panel to the source printed circuit board.
