The control part includes an inert gas total supply amount setting part configured to set a total supply amount of the inert gas to be supplied into the housing; a door open/purge determination part configured to determine whether a container door of a substrate storage container is in an open state and whether a purge device is performing a purge process; and an in-housing inert gas supply amount calculation part configured to calculate a supply amount of the inert gas to be supplied into the housing. The supply amount of the inert gas to be supplied into the housing is determined according to an inert gas supply amount command value determined based on a calculation result.

In an example, a computer-implemented method includes obtaining data, committing the obtained data to a fixed-size storage pool, the fixed-size storage pool including a plurality of slots and a pool index including a fixed-length array, by acquiring a slot in the plurality of slots, locking the acquired slot, storing the obtained data in the acquired slot, updating the pool index for the storage pool by updating an element in the array corresponding to the acquired slot, the element storing an indication of the obtained data, and unlocking the acquired slot, and transmitting an indication that the data is available.

The system also includes a computing device in communication with the first downhole communication device and including a processor and a non-transitory computer-readable medium that includes instructions that are executable by the processor to perform operations. The operations include receiving a test message including a spectral waveform from a second downhole communication device. The operations further include determining a desired reception frequency for receiving communications from the second downhole communication device using spectral data generated from the spectral waveform. Additionally, the operations include controlling the first downhole communication device to transmit a response message to the second downhole communication device identifying the desired reception frequency.
