Provided is a method for manufacturing a sintered body for an electrolyte and an electrolyte for a fuel cell using the same. More particularly, the following disclosure relates to a method for preparing an electrolyte having a firm thin film layer by using a sintered body having controlled sintering characteristics, and application of the electrolyte to a solid oxide fuel cell. It is possible to control the sintering characteristics of a sintered body through a simple method, such as controlling the amounts of crude particles and nanoparticles. In addition, an electrode using the obtained sintered body having controlled sintering characteristics is effective for forming a firm thin film layer. Further, such an electrolyte having a firm thin film layer formed thereon inhibits combustion of fuel with oxygen when it is applied to a fuel cell, and thus shows significantly effective for improving the quality of a cell.

In a diamond polycrystalline body, at least one element whose sulfide or chloride has a melting point of less than or equal to 1000° C. is added thereto, and crystal grains have an average grain size of less than or equal to 500 nm. Thereby, wear of diamond can be suppressed, and the diamond polycrystalline body can have a longer life when it is slid.

A method to produce low-temperature sinterable powders which are then subsequently used to fabricate freestanding piezoelectric films with very large electric-field-enhanced piezoelectric response is provided. The −d31 coefficient for PMN-PT layers can be as high as 2000 pm/V, larger than that of commercial single crystalline PMN-PT bulk materials, at 10 kV/cm (or 20 V over the 20-micron film thickness). In contrast to single crystals, the polycrystalline freestanding films are easy to fabricate and can be made into any size. The films are also easily miniaturized. The method can be applied to nearly any piezoelectric material.

The present invention provides a nano complex oxide doped dielectric ceramic material used for a multilayer ceramic capacitor using a base metal as a material of internal electrodes. The doped dielectric ceramic material comprises barium titanate and a nano complex oxide dopant, wherein the molar ratio of the barium titanate to the nano complex oxide dopant is in the range of (90˜98):(2˜10), the average particle size of the barium titanate is 50˜300 nm and the nano complex oxide dopant has the following formula (1): w A+x B+y C+z D. The present invention also provides processes for preparing the nano complex oxide doped dielectric ceramic material and ultrafine-grained and temperature-stable multilayer ceramic capacitors using the nano complex oxide doped dielectric ceramic material as the material of dielectric layers.
