    摘要: An improved apparatus for demodulating frequency-modulated optical communication signals and magnetoelectric signals. The apparatus includes a pulse generator for generating a train of successive timing pulses, a pulse deletion gate circuit for deleting one out of three of the successive timing pulses, an edge pulse generator circuit, a delay circuit for delaying each of the edge pulses, a first counter, a second counter, a detection gate circuit, a first flip-flop circuit, a second flip-flop circuit and a gate circuit responsive to both the output of the first flip-flop circuit and the output of the edge pulse generator circuit. The first counter is adapted to start counting the output pulses of the pulse deletion gate circuit synchronously with one of the edge pulses corresponding to a clock pulse and terminate counting the pulses in response to the arrival of the next clock pulse, while the second counter is adapted to receive the contents of the first counter in parallel and in the form of a complement at the termination of the counting and count the contents according to the timing pulses received from the timing pulse generator.

    摘要: There are provided a face image pickup device and a face image pickup method which can stably acquire a face image by appropriate illumination, and a program thereof. The face image pickup device comprises a camera which picks up an image of a face of a target person, an illumination light source which illuminates the face of the target person with near-infrared light having an arbitrary light amount, and a computer. The computer detects an area including an eye from the face image of the target person picked up by the camera. The computer measures a brightness distribution in the detected area. Thereafter, the computer controls the illumination light source so as to change the amount of near-infrared light based on the measured brightness distribution.

    摘要: A manufacturing process for a semiconductor integrated circuit device prevents occurrence of reaction between metal wiring and a boron-doped silicon plug over it in heat treatment for a MOS transistor to be formed over them and reduces the possibility of rise in contact resistance. Metal boride is formed on an exposed metal surface in the bottom of an opening made in an interlayer insulating film over the metal wiring. In order to facilitate formation of such metal boride, metal oxide remaining on the metal surface is removed with an aqueous ammonia solution. The metal surface is irradiated with high energy ultraviolet light in order to remove organic matter remaining in the opening and facilitate removal of the metal oxide with the aqueous ammonia solution.

    摘要: The present invention provides a heat exchanger unit that can save space, even when performing air conditioning in addition to ventilation. The heat exchanger unit performs heat exchange ventilation with a supply air channel flowing from an outdoor space to an indoor space and an exhaust air channel flowing from the indoor space to the outdoor space and includes an optical deodorization portion and a first blowing portion. The optical deodorization portion is provided so as to be linked to at least the indoor space and performs air conditioning with a circulation channel. The circulation channel is provided in the vicinity of either the supply air channel or the exhaust air channel. The first blowing portion includes a double-suction first impeller having a first suction inlet and a second suction inlet. Here, one of the supply air channel and the exhaust air channel that is provided in the vicinity of the circulation channel is provided at the first suction inlet side of the first impeller. The circulation channel is provided at the second suction inlet side of the first impeller.
