摘要: A disclosed vibration insulating device, which is interposed between a vibrating body and a mounting body, includes a fluid chamber fluid filled with fluid, an elastic support partly defining the fluid chamber, a movable member partly defining the fluid chamber, a supporting member supporting the movable member, an actuator opposed to the movable member, the actuator that generates displacement force to displace the movable member, and a gap holding member disposed between the supporting member and the actuator. The gap holding member maintains a gap between the actuator and the movable member. Also, according to a disclosed assembly method of the vibration insulating device, the movable member is supported so as to oppose the actuator by using the supporting member and the gap holding member such that it is capable of being displaced with respect to the actuator. Here, in the method, the gap holding member is positioned between the movable member and the actuator.

摘要: A method of manufacturing a semiconductor integrated circuit wherein a patterned wafer polishing machine for uniformly polishing a surface by chemical mechanical polishing is utilized which is provided with a head for holding a wafer and rubbing it on an abrasive surface. A pressure plate provided with vents is held by the head body which is provided with a gas inlet and an elastic film for sealing vents is provided on the end face on the side reverse to the gas inlet side of the pressure plate. A patterned wafer is held by the head as the wafer, pressed by action of the pressure of air from the gas inlet via the elastic film is pressed mechanically by the pressure plate. The polishing surface which is a principal plane on the patterned side of the wafer is mechanochemically polished by the abrasive surface.

The LAN connection method includes the steps of (a) in a LAN emulation (LANE) protocol which operates an existing network in the ATM network, connecting LAN emulation servers (LESs) which mainly cope with addresses from medial access control (MAC) addresses to ATM addresses in emulated LANs (ELANs) by a virtual channel connection (VCC) for transferring a LAN emulation address resolution protocol (LE ARP) which inquires the ATM address from the MAC address, and (b) transferring a LE ARP request with respect to a LAN emulation client (LEC) in a second ELAN to a LES in the second ELAN when a LES in a first ELAN receives the LE ARP request from a LEC in the first ELAN.

摘要: Described is a vibration isolator of a vibration actively reducing apparatus which achieves a more accurate detection of a residual vibration by means of a load sensor after an interference of a controlled vibration developed from a controlled vibration source constituting the vibration isolator against a vibration developed and transmitted from a vibration source such as a vehicular engine. In the vibration isolator, all vibration forces developed and transmitted from the vibration source are once concentrated onto a predetermined rigidity member such as a yoke of an electromagnetic actuator constituting the controlled vibration source and the load sensor is installed between the predetermined rigidity member and a lid member of the vibration isolator coupled to a supporting base member attached onto, for example, a vehicle body.

摘要: A focusing X-ray crystal monochromator in which one or more crystal layers having different spacings of lattice plane are stacked on a crystal base. Due to different spacings of lattice plane, the angle of reflection and diffraction of a diverging incident X-ray beam can be so changed that the beam takes a parallel or focusing direction for monochromatization. Thus, the monochromator of the present invention can be applied to the X-ray lithography for transferring a pattern of high resolution or the X-ray analysis such as the fine X-ray diffraction.

摘要: There is disclosed a mask for X-ray lithography wherein a peroxopolytungsten compound is used as an absorber, and a process for producing the same. Since this compound has a sensitivity for electron beams and light and serves as an absorber for X-rays, a mask for X-ray lithorgraphy is made only by applying this compound to a substrate, exposing the same to light to form a transferred pattern, and effecting development. Thus, the step of etching the absorber which is essential in the conventional process, is not needed. Therefore, masks having a highly accurate pattern and few defects can be produced with a high production yield.

摘要: An X-ray mask having a mask pattern formed from nickel or a material having nickel as a principal component supported on a thin membrane. The X-ray mask has characteristics substantially equal to those of the conventional X-ray mask employing Au as a mask pattern and is much lower in price than the Au-containing mask pattern. In addition, since the X-ray mask can easily be formed by electroless plating, it is possible to form a mask pattern with a higher accuracy than that in case of employing Au alone.

摘要: A regenerative heating and melting device is disclosed for treating asphalt concrete rubble for the recovery of an asphalt coated aggregate suitable for reuse. The apparatus includes a vertical cylindrical casing, an inlet for hot gas and an outlet for exhaust gas, conveyor means for conveying the rubble to the top of the casing and means for recovering the regenerated paving material from the casing. The internal space of the cylindrical casing is divided into a plurality of tier sections by partition plates. Each of the plates has an opening means to communicate with the adjacent lower tier section. A rotary shaft is provided in the cylindrical casing, the axis of which coincides with the axis of the cylindrical casing and extending through the tier sections and partition plates. The mixing blades are above and in sliding contact with the partition plates and of a dimension so that on the diameter, the diameter of the mixing blades is slightly less than the interior diameter of the casing to permit rotation of the mixing blades inside the casing with sufficient clearance to permit movement.
