Abstract: Methods for assessing trailer utilization are disclosed herein. An example method includes capturing an image featuring a trailer, and segmenting the image into a plurality of regions. For each region the example method may include cropping the image to exclude data that exceeds a respective forward distance threshold, and iterating over each data point to determine whether or not a matching point is included. Responsive to whether or not a matching point included for a respective data point, the method may include adding the respective data point or the matching point to a respective region based on a position of the respective data point. Further, the method may include calculating a normalized height of the respective region based on whether or not a gap is present in the respective region; and creating a 3D model visualization of the trailer that depicts trailer utilization.

Abstract: Systems and methods for forward market renewable energy credit prediction from business entity behavior data are disclosed. An example transaction-enabling system may include a forward market circuit to access a forward energy credit market and a market forecasting circuit to automatically generate a forecast for a forward market price of an energy credit in the forward energy credit market. The example system may include wherein the forecast is based at least in part on a business entity behavior collected from at least one business entity behavioral data source, and wherein the energy credit comprises a renewable energy credit associated a renewable energy system. The example system may further include a smart contract circuit to perform at least one of selling the renewable energy credit or purchasing the renewable energy credit on the forward energy credit market in response to the forecasted forward market price.

Abstract: A system and a method are disclosed for simulating asset transfers (e.g., sweeps) using a user interface generated by various collections of display routines. A sweep management system may generate a graphical user interface (GUI) on a webpage to simulate sweeps. The GUI may include a list of entities rendered using a first collection of display routines and a graphical representation of some of the entities rendered using a second collection of display routines. The graphical representation may be rendered using a shared webpage object. Furthermore, callback functions are executed to perform operations based on user interactions. For example, callback functions are used to update the graphical representation after a user has dragged and dropped an entry from the list into the graphical representation.

Abstract: Improved energy conservation, including realization of a ZNET (Zero Net Energy including Transportation) paradigm, can be encouraged by providing energy consumers with a holistic view of their overall energy consumption. Current energy consumption in terms of space heating, water heating, other electricity, and personal transportation can be modeled by normalizing the respective energy consumption into the same units of energy. Options for reducing energy that can include traditional energy efficiencies, such as cutting down on and avoiding wasteful energy use and switching to energy efficient fixtures, and improving the thermal efficiency and performance of a building, can be modeled. Additional options can also include non-traditional energy efficiencies, such as replacing a gasoline-powered vehicle with an electric vehicle, fuel switching from a water heater fueled by natural gas to a heat pump water heater, and fuel switching from space heating fueled by natural gas to a heat pump space heater.
