Abstract: A method for preparing drinking water for livestock includes mixing 2.5 to 5.0 WT % of tourmaline and 2.5 to 5.0 WT % of illite as natural minerals in powder form of 2 to 3 μm with 90 to 95 WT % of water to produce a mixed solution, and maintaining the mixed solution for 5 to 7 hours at room temperature, and removing the tourmaline powders and illite powders to produce leachate; mixing 15 to 25 WT % of detoxified sulfur in powder form of 2 to 3 μm, 10 to 25 WT % of Rrhus verniciflua Stokes extract, and 10 to 25 WT % of Momordicae Semen extract with 25 to 65 WT % of the leachate to produce a liquid mixture, and maintaining the liquid mixture for 12 hours; and mixing 150 to 250 ml of the liquid mixture with 20 l of water and maintaining the liquid mixture for 6 to 7 hours for amplification.

Abstract: Compositions and methods for improving nitric oxide levels in a subject, comprising administering to a subject, a composition comprising dietary nitrate derived from potassium nitrate, beet root (whole plant, powder, plant extract), and/or nitrate-rich leafy green portions (whole plant, powder, plant extract) that improve functional nitric oxide levels in subjects as shown by increasing salivary bioconversion of nitrate to nitrite, a necessary a required step for nitric oxide mediated health benefits. The disclosed novel compositions improve cardiac health, lowers blood pressure, intraocular pressure, and LDL and restores nitric oxide mediated cardiovascular benefits, including but not limited, restoring endothelium function and improving flow mediated dilation.

Abstract: Systems and methods for administering one or more hydration compositions to an individual to improve vascular health are provided. A system comprises a hydration composition delivery element and a sensor operatively coupled to the hydration composition delivery element. The sensor is configured to determine one or more of the intake of fluids, the amount of fluid discharged, the activity level of the patient, or level of hydration of the patient based on the level of fluid in the hydration composition delivery element. The system further includes a monitoring system which, based on a signal received from the sensor, provides an indication of one or more of the need to intake fluid, the identity of a specific hydration composition of a plurality of hydration compositions to be consumed or an amount of a hydration composition to be consumed.

Abstract: The present invention relates to the use of a combination of a yeast of the species Saccharomyces cerevisiae, resveratrol and a curcuma extract, for use in the management of a subject who has endometriosis or is susceptible to endometriosis. The combination according to the invention may be used in the treatment or prevention of endometriotic lesions in a subject who has endometriosis or is susceptible to endometriosis, for example to slow the development or to reduce the endometriotic lesions. It may also be used in the treatment or prevention of one or more symptoms or disorders associated with endometriosis. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical or nutraceutical compositions and kits based on said combination.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are genetically modified microorganisms and related methods for the enhanced production and export of oligosaccharides. The microorganisms described herein express major facility superfamily proteins such as CDT-1, which allows for the export of oligosaccharides. Variants of CDT-1 exhibit higher activity regarding oligosaccharide export. The microorganisms described herein express formation enzymes for the production of oligosaccharides. Means to export oligosaccharides into the growth medium are provided herein.
