    摘要: A vehicle alternating current generator increasing the flow of cooling air therethrough and reduces whizzing sounds from cooling windows surrounding the generator's fan. This is done by inclining guide walls separating the cooling windows so that the angle of inclination thereof in the radial direction of the generator is larger the closer the windows are to the forward edge of the housing supports and smaller the closer the windows are to the backward edge of the housing supports. Also, the cooling windows narrow the closer they are to the supports, and are widest in the middle between two adjacent supports. Further, the axial length of the windows may be shorter the closer they are to the supports, and longer in the middle between two adjacent supports.

    摘要: A fuel pump and a fuel filter inside a fuel tank and a pressure regulator are supported by a cover closing for an opening of the fuel tank. The fuel sucked by the fuel pump flows into the fuel filter and flows out to the lower side chamber of a filter housing after being filtered by an element. The fuel consumed at the fuel consumption device such as an internal combustion engine is supplied through a fuel passage extending upward from the lower side chamber of the filter housing. On the other hand, water mixed in the fuel is accumulated in the lower side chamber. Especially, glass fibers having high water affinity is mixed in the filter element, so that water is trapped, becomes water drops, and fall to the lower side chamber. Water drops return to the fuel tank with surplus fuel through the pressure regulator disposed at the bottom of the housing.

After engine starting, the switching valve opens, exhaust gas flows in the passage on the honeycomb body side, and HC is adsorbed by the adsorbent. Meanwhile, when exhaust-gas temperature rises and a condition wherein HC separates from the adsorbent is reached, the switching valve is closed, adsorption components which have become high in temperature due to exhaust gas heat separate from an passage between the downstream of this switching valve and the honeycomb body, and are refluxed via reflux passages and to an upstream side of the foregoing catalyst device.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a device which supplies a field current to the field coil of an alternator for a vehicle in a gradually changing manner. In the device, a pulse voltage which has a pulse width corresponding to a phase difference between output signals of first and a second counters (15 and 16) is generated by a maximum duty ratio limiting circuit (19). When the alternator output voltage becomes higher than a reference voltage, the full-scale count time of the second counter is shortened relative to the full-scale count time of the first counter. On the other hand, when the output voltage becomes lower than the reference voltage, the same is elongated to thereby increase the phase difference. A switching transistor (12) is provided to control the field current supplied to the alternator field coil in response to the above pulse voltage.
