摘要: The present invention provides an aqueous composition for recording medium in a form of aqueous dispersion solution comprising a polyvinyl alcohol-based resin (A) having an average saponification degree of 80-89 mol % and an average polymerization degree of 1700-3500, and containing a polyvinyl alcohol having 1,2-diol structural unit on a side chain thereof, represented by a general formula (1); an inorganic microparticle (B); and a boron compound (C). The aqueous composition of the present invention is not likely to become gel and therefore exhibit excellent preservation stability. Furthermore, the aqueous composition provides a recording layer serving as an ink receiving layer/glossy layer satisfied with gloss, ink absorbency, and water resistance. Accordingly, the present invention may also provide an ink-jet recording medium satisfying surface gloss by forming a coating layer of the inventive aqueous composition on a substrate, even when the substrate has water resistance.

摘要: The invention relates to a scanning image projector that facilitates making the whole optical system compact while making it easy to control an image being projected. The scanning image projector comprises a light source unit that gives out a light beam modulated on the basis of image information, a deflector that reflects the light beam for deflecting and scanning it in a two-dimensional direction, and a projecting optical system that projects a light beam reflected by the deflector toward a projection direction to form a two-dimensional image. The projecting optical system 6 comprises a plurality of reflecting surfaces 12, 13 tilted with respect to a chief ray of a light beam leading to the center of the projected image. At least one of the plurality of reflecting surfaces 13, 14 is a curved reflecting surface of concave shape at a position where the chief ray 21 of a light beam leading to the center of the projected image goes by. A chief ray of a light beam leading to an end of the image leaves in a direction away form the chief ray 21 of the light beam leading to the center of the projected image as it is out of the projecting optical system 6.

摘要: A dictionary server includes a retrieval-display processing unit. Upon receipt of a request for retrieval of semantic information related to a term from a client PC, the retrieval-display processing unit acquires the semantic information, header information, and link information related to the semantic information from knowledge reference data, dictionary content data, and dictionary data. Based on the acquired information, the retrieval-display processing unit causes the client PC to display items on webpage related to the semantic information, the header information, and the link information.

摘要: A cylindrical shell main body constituting a muffler main body is formed of two layers of an inner shell and an outer shell and has a cylindrical shape with a cross section that is not a perfect circle but is defined by alternated small arc portions and large arc portions similarly to an oval, or the like. The outer shell of the shell main body has, in each of their small arc portions, four radially projecting beads continuously extending in a circumferential direction along the small arc portions and being a predetermined distance apart from one another in an axial direction, thereby allowing an upper and lower gaps between the inner shell and the outer shell in the respective large arc portions of the shell main body to communicate with each other through passages formed by the beads.

摘要: A preventive and/or therapeutic agent for inflammatory respiratory tract diseases containing, as an active ingredient, a steroid derivative represented by the following formula (1): (wherein R represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, or —OCOR1 (wherein R1 represents a linear or branched alkyl group which may be substituted by a halogen atom or a cycloalkyl group; a cycloalkyl group; or an aryl group)). These compounds can continuously suppress respiratory tract inflammation and respiratory tract hyperreaction and show a high site selectivity and little systemic effect when administered directly to the respiratory tract. By virtue of these characteristics, these compounds are remarkably useful in clinical medicine as highly safe preventive and/or therapeutic agents for inflammatory respiratory tract diseases which can be administered for a long period of time.

摘要: There is disclosed a work data collection method. In a darkroom, a data collector (12) photographs a series of jobs through an infrared video camera (14) while observing the jobs being done by a worker (11) through a darkroom goggle. At each break point between the jobs, the data collector operates a hand switch board (21) to enter a break point signal and select a corresponding job title from among a list of job titles displayed on an LCD device (15) that the data collector puts on behind the darkroom goggle. Then, the break point signal and job title data are recorded in association with each other on a hard disc of a portable personal computer (20). If the corresponding job title is not listed, the data collector says that job title to enter it as a sound signal through a microphone. The sound signal is converted into character data of the job title. Video signal of the jobs, the break point signals and the job title data are transferred to a personal computer (25), to be processed for the sake of analysis and examination.

摘要: A reflective surface for detection is provided in an object being detected. Laser light condensed by a condensing lens is emitted from a laser light source and angle detection is performed by performing angle detection of the reflected light. The reflected light is irradiated onto a beam splitter and the optical path thereof is split by an optical path splitting surface to form luminous flux spots on light receiving surfaces of two four section light receivers. Optical path lengths from the reflective surface for detection to the respective light receiving surfaces are changed enabling the angle detection sensitivity to be altered. In an angle detection apparatus, an optical signal switch system, and an information recording and reproduction system, it is possible to make multiple detections of an inclination angle of a detection object using a compact structure. Consequently, improvements in various performances such as apparatus reliability, inclination angle detection precision, and detection range can be achieved.

摘要: A decentering optical system which takes a substantially parallel beam as input light, includes a prism having a medium whose refractive index is greater than 1, and four optical surfaces disposed at boundary surfaces of the medium so as to be mutually decentering or to slant. The four optical surfaces form a light-incident surface through which the input light enters, at least two internal-reflective surfaces which reflect internally the input light entering inside, a splitting surface which splits an optical path of the input light reflected by any one of these internal-reflective surfaces, into a transmission optical path and a reflection optical path; and a transmitting surface which emits the input light traveling along the reflection optical path towards an exterior. Real images are formed along each of the transmission optical path and the reflection optical path.
