    摘要: Provided is a permanent magnet motor that realizes reduction of both cogging torque and torque ripple, and also downsizing and weight reduction together with torque ripple reduction. When two sets of three-phase armature windings are defined such that a first armature winding 30-1 corresponds to U1 phase, V1 phase, and W1 phase and a second armature winding 30-2 corresponds to U2 phase, V2 phase, and W2 phase, U1 phase is provided in both of any adjacent slots of a plurality of slots 27, or at least one of U1 phase and U2 phase is provided in one of any adjacent slots 27, U1 phase, V1 phase, and W1 phase are shifted by an electric angle of 20° to 40° from U2 phase, V2 phase, and W2 phase upon driving, and a slot opening width Ws of a stator iron core 22 is set to satisfy Ws/(2πRs/Ns)≦0.15, where Rs is an inner radius of the stator iron core and Ns is a slot number of the stator iron core.

The device includes a switching element; a coil; a smoothing capacitor; an electrical connection member for electrically connecting the switching element with the smoothing capacitor and the coil; a control board that mounts a control element; a control signal line for electrically connecting the switching element with the control board; and a switching element placing portion for placing the switching element thereon. The electrical connection member is arranged between the switching element and the control board; the smoothing capacitor and the coil are arranged, with respect to the electrical connection member, on a side of the switching element; and end surfaces of the smoothing capacitor and the coil are positioned, with respect to the electrical connection member, apart from a plane where the switching element and the switching element placing portion are adjoined together.

    摘要: A motor for an electric power steering device, includes: a housing side bearing which is placed on the output side of a shaft of a rotor placed in a frame, and is supported by a housing connected to the frame; and a frame side bearing which is placed on the opposite output side of the shaft of the rotor, and is composed of an outer ring and an inner ring supported by the frame. The motor is controlled by an electronic control unit which is coaxially placed with the rotor, the motor including: a bearing box which supports the frame side bearing, and is formed with a closed end section between the closed end section and the side of the frame side bearing; an axial elastic body which is placed on the closed end section of the bearing box, and applies a preload in an axial direction to the outer ring of the frame side bearing; and a radial elastic body which is placed on the outer circumferential side of the outer ring of the frame side bearing, and applies a preload in a direction perpendicular to the axial direction.
