摘要： A torque converter includes a pump shell constituting an internal space for retaining ATF and capable of rotating about the rotation axis; a blade engaging with the pump shell; and an extension sleeve pressing the blade against the pump shell. The pump shell has a groove into which a tip portion of the blade is fit formed at its inner peripheral surface. In the state where the tip portion is fit into the groove, the extension sleeve presses the blade to fix the blade to the pump shell. The groove forms an acute angle θ with respect to a meridian of the shell passing through the groove. The groove extends in one direction, has one end opened and the other end closed, and has a width larger on the side of the one end than on the side of the other end. The groove has a portion smallest in width equal to the width of the tip portion.

摘要： A tray used to place granular materials on a reading surface of an image reading device has provided thereto a transparent bottom plate, a background vertically upstanding relative to the bottom plate, and reflective elements arranged at predetermined intervals parallel to the background. In order to enable an imaging means of the image reading device to receive a side view image of the granular materials in the thickness direction thereof with the granular materials placed on the bottom plate of the tray, the tray is provided with a technical means for bending and guiding, by the reflective elements, light from the granular materials in the thickness direction thereof to the direction of the optical axis of the imaging means.

In a rotary head type magnetic recording/reproduction apparatus including two sets of magnetic head groups AT and BT of one or a plurality of magnetic heads displaceable in the track width direction by actuators 100A and 100B, a signal which becomes the reference for relative height adjustment of the heads is recorded by one of the magnetic head groups. Then, the magnetic tape is rewound, and the run of the magnetic tape is controlled by one of the magnetic head groups. Under this state, the relative height between the two sets of magnetic head groups is detected by the other magnetic head group, whereby the relative height of the two sets of magnetic head groups is adjusted according to that information.
