    摘要: According to the present invention, an air conditioner for a vehicle cancels the thermal interference with a rear-seat side from a front-seat side even when the difference in target temperature between the front-seat side and the rear-seat side is equal to a predetermined value or more. When the difference a set temperature on the front-seat side and a set temperature on the rear-seat side is equal to .+-.3 (.degree.C.) or more, a ratio of the outside air sucked into a front-seat air conditioner unit is decreased according to an increase in the difference between the set temperatures. In this way, since the amount of air which is blown out from the front-seat air conditioner unit and further flows into the rear-seat side is decreased, it is possible to cancel the thermal interference from the front-seat side, by means of air blown out from a rear-seat air conditioner unit.

    摘要: In an air conditioner for automobiles, control unit for performing feedback control of blow off air is constructed in the form of an integral-added optimal regulator (M4) which performs the feedback control on the basis of optimal feedback gain predetermined according to dynamic model(s) of an air conditioning system including the vehicle compartment (M1) and the used air conditioning unit (M2). According to another feature of the present invention, an environmental condition, such as solar radiation to the vehicle compartment (M1), is detected to further accurately control the internal air temperature. In one embodiment, the internal variables including optimal feedback gain of the integral-added optimal regulator (M4) are changed in accordance with the variation in the dynamic model depending on the detected environmental condition. In another embodiment, in addition to the above-mentioned feedback gain, feedforward gain is used so as to finally determine controlled variables of blow off air control unit (M2). Furthermore, according to another feature of the present invention, temperature control may be performed at a plurality of different positions within a vehicle compartment using a plurality of air conditioning units without suffering from interference between a plurality of airflows.

    摘要: Apparatus for controlling an automotive air conditioner comprises first and second air distribution passageways in which blower fans are provided to direct air streams respectively therethrough to first and second areas of a passenger compartment. First and second evaporators located in the first and second passageways respectively are supplied with working fluid to transfer thermal energy from the first and second air streams to the supplied working fluid. A control unit is responsive to the temperatures of the first and second areas and temperature settings for estimating thermal energies of the first and second air streams to be delivered from the passageways and derives first and second control signals from the estimated thermal energies to control actuators which individually regulate the flow rates of the working fluid supplied to the first and second evaporators.

    摘要: A controlled variable-calculating apparatus and method that can easily calculate a controlled variable from one or more input variables and that can appropriately learn control characteristics for the calculation of the controlled variable. The control characteristics are represented as a surface embedded in an (n+1)-dimensional space, and are used to control one controlled variable from n variables. The control characteristics are approximated by an assemblage of flat planes corresponding to subspaces obtained by dividing an n-dimensional input space. For example, a two-dimensional input space defined by the interior temperature and the amount of sunlight is divided into 15 subspaces. Flat planes 1-15 are made to correspond to the subspaces, respectively. If the interior temperature and the amount of sunlight are entered, a decision is made as to which subspace the environmental conditions belong. The airflow is then calculated using an equation for any one of the flat planes 1-15. If the airflow is needs to be modified, the equation for the flat plane corresponding to the corresponding subspace is updated.
