Abstract:
A method of driving a fuel cell system is disclosed. The method of driving the fuel cell system may include supplying water to a reformer by pressing a pump pipe to pressing members to move the pressing members in a first direction, stopping power generation including stopping a supply of fuel and oxidant to the reformer, and discharging water in the reformer by moving the pressing members in a second direction opposite to the first direction while pressing the pump pipe with the pressing members. A fuel cell system is also disclosed. The fuel cell system includes a reformer, a fuel cell stack and a water transferring pump. The water transferring pump includes pressing members and a pump pipe. The pump pipe is in fluid communication with a water transferring pipe.
Abstract:
A dual capacity compressor, which can maintain a fixed eccentricity and stable operation, even when the compressor is rotated in both the regular and reverse directions in order to provide multiple compression capacities, is provided. This dual capacity compressor implements an improved key member and associated key member fitting parts to inhibit relative motion of the crank pin and the eccentric sleeve during operation, so as to reduce or eliminate a destabilizing effect due to centrifugal forces on the eccentric sleeve and external forces applied through the connecting rod.
Abstract:
Service tracking using beacons may include receiving, at a computing device including a processor, a plurality of beacon identifiers from a plurality of beacons. Each of the plurality of beacon identifiers may be associated with a unique beacon that may be located at a fixed location on a property. The plurality of beacons may form a matrix of beacons. Once the beacon identifiers are received, the computing device may determine a location of the computing device within the matrix of beacons. The location may include a proximity to one of the plurality of beacons. Once the location of the computing device is determined transmit a service request that may be associated with a service selection may be transmitted to a remote computing device. The service request may include service data for performing the service and the location of the computing device within the matrix of beacon.
Abstract:
A battery module including a plurality of unit cells, a plurality of bus bars electrically connecting the plurality of unit cells, a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal that are electrically connected and in contact with two ends of the plurality of unit cells, a battery housing accommodating the plurality of unit cells and the bus bars, and detection terminals that are respectively electrically connected to the plurality of bus bars, wherein the detection terminals are exposed outside the battery housing. Accordingly, voltage balancing between the unit cells may be controlled without disassembling the battery module.
Abstract:
A cooling system for a machine room of a refrigerator is provided. More particularly, a cooling system for a machine room of a refrigerator is provided, which is capable of cooling the machine room of the refrigerator using a smaller blowing fan in a nacelle-shaped or nacelle duct, which can acquire more air than using conventional fan blades, remarkably reducing noise of the fan and ensuring sufficient space, thereby efficiently cooling the compressor and the condenser installed in the machine room. The apparatus for cooling a machine room of a refrigerator may include a compressor installed in the machine room, a condenser installed in the machine room and connected to the compressor via a connection pipe, and a nacelle duct installed in the machine room that cools the compressor and the condenser by blowing air, the nacelle duct having a central opening.
Abstract:
The present invention discloses a linear compressor which can rapidly overcome load and improve compression efficiency, by synchronizing an operation frequency of a linear motor with a natural frequency of a movable member varied by the load and varying a stroke of the movable member according to the load. The linear compressor includes a fixed member having a compression space inside, a movable member linearly reciprocated in the fixed member in the axial direction, for compressing refrigerants sucked into the compression space, one or more springs installed to elastically support the movable member in the motion direction of the movable member, spring constants of which being varied by load, and a linear motor installed to be connected to the movable member, for linearly reciprocating the movable member in the axial direction, and varying a stroke of the movable member according to a predetermined refrigeration force, so that the movable member can be linearly reciprocated to reach a top dead center.
Abstract:
In an embodiment of the invention, an apparatus and method to abstract a multithreaded processor core to single threaded processor core include performing the steps of: viewing, by an operating system, a first hardware thread and a second hardware thread in a processor core; and viewing, by a user application, the first hardware thread and the second hardware thread as a single CPU object.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a waste heat management system of an electric vehicle. In particular, a pump for controlling the flow of cooling fluid, an OBC cooling fluid line and a motor cooling fluid line which diverge in parallel from an outlet of a cooling fluid line of the fluid pump, and a heater core cooling fluid line and a radiator cooling fluid line which are respectively connected in parallel with a junction of an inlet of the fluid pump cooling fluid line and a junction of outlets of the heater core cooling fluid line and the radiator cooling fluid line, are interconnected to provide both heating and air-conditioning to the interior of the vehicle. Additionally, the present invention, also allows the motor to be preheated when the vehicle is not running.
