摘要: A connection device for a ceramic gas sensor element includes a sensor assembly and a ring member. The sensor assembly has a ceramic element with a thickness t, an electrical connection portion formed on a side of the ceramic element, and at least one electrical lead in contact with the electrical connection portion, wherein the sensor assembly defines an outer dimension at a position corresponding to the electrical connection portion. The ring member is disposed around the sensor assembly to hold the at least one electrical lead in contact with the electrical connection portion such that the ring member has an inner dimension at a position corresponding to the connection portion that is smaller than the outer dimension of the sensor element. The ring member defines an axial length L that contacts the sensor assembly such that the thickness t and the axial length L satisfy the relation 0.23≦L/t≦13.

摘要: A nickel plate is brazed to a shaft of a ceramic turbine wheel by way of a brazed joint layer of the composition consisting of 20 to 70 wt % of silver, 1 to 20 wt % of palladium, 10 to 60 wt % of nickel and 1 to 10 wt % of titanium. The nickel plate is brazed to a metal shaft by interposing therebetween a tungsten base alloy plate and another nickel plate. The nickel plates, tungsten base alloy plate and metal shaft are brazed together by way of respective brazed joint layers of the composition which does not include titanium. A metal sleeve is installed on the shaft of the ceramic turbine wheel, metal shaft and the metal plates. The metal sleeve is brazed to the metal shaft by way of a brazed joint layer of the composition including less than 1 wt % of titanium. The brazed joint layer for brazing the metal sleeve and metal shaft together is formed by the filler metals for forming the brazed joint layers for brazing the nickel plates, tungsten alloy plate and metal shaft together.

摘要: A mechanical part comprises a sliding section and a sleeve section which are prepared separately. The sliding section is made of a wear resisting material such as ceramics and formed with a planar sliding surface at one of the sides thereof. The sliding section is further formed with a joining portion at the outer periphery thereof. The sleeve section is made of metal and formed with a joining portion at the inner periphery thereof. The joining portions of the sliding section and the sleeve section are joined by interference fit or the like, whereby to allow the sliding surface of the sleeve section to be formed into a crowned shape.

摘要: The invention is a cellulose derivative wherein some of the carboxyl groups of the cellulose derivative carboxymethylcellulose are replaced with —CO—NH—X—CO—Y—Z, and a hydrogel of the same. In the formula, X is a C1-10 divalent hydrocarbon group, Y is a divalent group derived from polyalkylene oxide having oxygen atoms at both ends, and Z is a C1-24 hydrocarbon group or —CO—R4, where R4 is a C1-23 hydrocarbon group. The hydrogel has excellent viscoelasticity and can be injected into prescribed sites with injecting devices such as syringes, and it can thus be utilized as a medical gel or adhesion barrier.
