    摘要: It is intended to find characteristics of a pectin having a high molecular weight as compared with the existing pectins which are obtained by extracting plants and provide a method whereby the pectin can be supplied in a large amount. A callus derived from a plant is cultured so as to produce a pectin having a high molecular weight in the culture or the culture broth. Then the desired pectin is obtained by separating from the thus obtained culture or culture broth and purifying. The pectin thus obtained of the present invention has favorable properties as a moisturizer and, therefore, is excellent as a cosmetic material.

    摘要: An inorganic insulating film 103 of SiC is formed on a fluorine-containing carbon film 102 by a chemical vapor deposition process using SiF4 and C2H4 as source gases. By using SiF4 and CF4 containing no hydrogen (H) as source gases, H inhibited from being incorporated into the inorganic insulating film 103 forming a hard mask 113. Thus, H having diffused outwardly from the inorganic insulating film 103 is bonded to fluorine (F) in the fluorine-containing carbon film 102 to form HF which inhibits the corrosion of the inorganic insulating film 103 and so forth. Thus, it is possible to inhibit the deterioration of the adhesion of the hard mask 113 formed of the inorganic insulating film 103 to other layers, such as the fluorine-containing carbon film 102.

    摘要: A rotary viscosimeter includes a rotor driven to rotate in a liquid, the viscosity of which is to be measured. A first drive shaft or rotor shaft supports the rotor and transmits a rotary driving force to the rotor. A rotary driving apparatus has a motor for driving the rotor with an output shaft for supplying the driving force. A second drive shaft transmits the drive force from the motor to the rotor shaft. A first link elastically links the output shaft of the motor with the second drive shaft to transmit the driving force therebetween. A support includes a pivot and a bearing for rotatably supporting the motor shaft and second link which by-passes the support for linking the rotor shaft with the second shaft. A detector senses the angular displacement between the output shaft and the rotor shaft. A pivot protector has a locking mechanism for locking the rotor shaft from rotating and for disengaging the lock. A pivot separating mechanism separates and engages the pivot and the bearing of the support. A controller controls the motor and pivot protector.

    摘要: A mower is provided which includes a pair of link mechanisms for mounting a cutter unit on the side of a mower body in suspended form. Each link mechanism includes a pair of lifting links. The paired lifting links are pivotably connected to the side of the mower body at opposing end portions. The other end portions of the paired lifting links are connected together so that the paired lifting links can be rotated upward and downward about the respective pivot points. The cutter unit is supported by respective intermediate portions of the lifting links in suspended form, and lifted by rotating the lifting links of the paired link mechanisms upward and downward in a linked relation.
