    摘要: In a system and method of determining a data flow metric in a wireless communication system, sending a plurality of test packets to a plurality of wireless devices in communication with an access node, determining a first inter-arrival gap and a first physical resource block-to-transmission time interval (PRB-TTI) ratio for each wireless device during a first time period, and a first comparison of the first inter-arrival gap to the first PRB-TTI ratio for each wireless device, determining a second inter-arrival gap and a second PRB-TTI ratio for each wireless device during a second time period, and a second comparison of the second inter-arrival gap to the second PRB-TTI ratio for each wireless device, and determining whether a data flow metric of the access node meets a data flow criteria based on the first and second comparisons.

In some embodiments, a base station allocates bandwidth for UE (User Equipment devices) transmissions within the aggregated uplink carrier during an upcoming TTI (Transmission Time Interval), wherein for the upcoming TTI, the aggregated uplink carrier has an enhanced subframe format with an enhanced PUSCH (Physical Uplink Shared Channel) region that maps to a continuous frequency range extending across one or more frequency boundaries between one or more of the plurality of uplink component carriers.

    摘要: In a communication system, a data processing system determines offload vectors for first base station carriers in a first wireless communication network. The offload vectors indicate offload availability per time frame for device offloads from the first base station carriers to second base station carriers in a second wireless communication network. The data processing system determines offload vector similarity among the first base station carriers to group the first base station carriers into a lowest number of carrier groups to maintain the offload vector similarity within the carrier groups above a similarity threshold. The data processing system generates and transfers a data structure that associates the first base station carriers with representative offload vectors for their carrier groups. Wireless communication devices receive and process the data structure to control offloads from the first base station carriers to the second base station carriers.
