摘要: Method for separating a polishing material, which is capable of separating and recovering cerium oxide from a used polishing material that is mainly composed of cerium oxide and a regenerated polishing material which can be obtained by the separation method. This method for separating a polishing material is characterized in that a divalent alkaline earth metal salt is added into the slurry of the used polishing material, while controlling the temperature of the slurry within the range of 10-70 DEG C., thereby causing the polishing material to aggregate under such conditions that the mother liquor has a pH of less than 10.0 as the pH is converted to one at 25 DEG C. so that the polishing material is separated from the mother liquor.

摘要: A method of extracting components from particulate materials is disclosed. The method includes the steps of mixing the particles with a first extraction solvent to provide a slurry. The slurry is then passed through an extraction zone. A second extraction solvent is passed countercurrently to the slurry through the extraction zone. The second solvent has a different density from the first solvent and is substantially immiscible with the first solvent. This process is particularly beneficial for use in the extraction of ground oil-seed particles.

摘要: An extraction apparatus capable of continuously and efficiently extracting a biological substance is provided. Multiple rotation discs are utilized in the extraction apparatus to significantly improve the efficiency of extracting the biological substance by using an extraction solvent. Specifically, when the extraction solvent is applied to extract lipids from microalgae, retention time of the microalgae in the extraction solvent can be significantly increased, and solubility of the microalgal lipids in the extraction solvent can be improved. Hence, the efficiency of extracting the lipids from the microalgae by using the extraction solvent can be enhanced. On the other hand, owing to the improvement of the efficiency of extracting the lipids from the microalgae, the amount of the extraction solvent can be reduced, and production costs can be reduced as well.

摘要: The invention relates to a method of material separation, in which a material, which comprises at least a first material component and a second material component, is introduced, together with a washing fluid, into a container with at least one sedimentation chamber and is subjected to a gravitational field, under influence of the gravitational field in the sedimentation chamber, the first material component is enriched in a sedimentation zone, which is bounded by a base, and the material with the enriched first material component is evacuated from the sedimentation zone via an opening in the base, the material with the enriched first material component being evacuated as a sediment film through the opening in the base, washing fluid flowing transversely onto the sediment film and the washing fluid flowing through the sediment film and, in the process, an at least partial displacement of the remaining second material component taking place from the sediment film. The invention further relates to an appliance, in particular for carrying out the method.
