Abstract: A solenoid operated liquid spray gun for use in directing small volume, air atomized liquid at short operating intervals. The spray gun includes a housing having pressurized liquid and air inlets, a solenoid coil contained within the housing, and a fluid control module disposed within the solenoid coil for controlling the flow of liquid from the liquid inlet through a discharge nozzle. The solenoid coil and module further define an annular air passage within the housing for communicating pressurized air from the air inlet to the nozzle for facilitating atomization and direction of the liquid discharging from the gun.

Abstract: An aerosol valve button featuring an aspirator passageway having one end in communication with the atmosphere and its other end adjacent the button''s discharge orifice. Product-flow through the discharge orifice causes an air-stream to flow in the aspirator passageway. Abstract: An atomizing spray nozzle device includes an atomizing zone housing that receives different phases of materials used to form a coating. The atomizing zone housing mixes the different phases of the materials into a two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in a carrier gas. The device also includes a plenum housing fluidly coupled with the atomizing housing and extending from the atomizing housing to a delivery end. The plenum housing includes an interior plenum that receives the two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in the carrier gas from the atomizing zone housing. The device also includes one or more delivery nozzles fluidly coupled with the plenum chamber. The delivery nozzles provide outlets from which the two-phase mixture of ceramic-liquid droplets in the carrier gas is delivered onto one or more surfaces of a target object as the coating on the target object.

Abstract: An apparatus and a method for mixing and atomizing a hydrocarbon stream is disclosed. The apparatus comprises of an inner conduit having a first inlet for receiving the hydrocarbon stream, and a second inlet for receiving a primary dispersion stream. The inner conduit produces a primary mixture comprising the hydrocarbon stream and the primary dispersion stream. The apparatus further includes an outer conduit having a third inlet for receiving a secondary dispersion stream. Further, said inner and outer conduits together define an annular passage. The distal end of the annular passage defines a second set of orifices for allowing the secondary dispersion stream flowing there-through to come in contact with the primary mixture and thereby dispensing the secondary mixture so obtained through an outlet.

Abstract: A transition adapter component of a ventilator aerosol delivery system for delivering an aerosol to a patient, includes a housing having a proximal end and a distal end, the proximal end having an aerosol passage for receiving an aerosol produced by a heated capillary and a gas connection port for receiving carrier gas from a ventilator, which is in communication with a plurality of gas entry ports within the transition adapter. An inner cavity of the transition adapter receives the aerosol from the heated capillary and the streams of carrier gas from the plurality of gas exit ports within the transition adapter and directs the streams of carrier gas at least partially encircling and in parallel with the aerosol. An exit port on the distal end of the transition adapter housing delivers an entrained aerosol to an aerosol delivery connector.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for removing smoke and poisonous gas. The apparatus includes a body configured to include a flux unit which supplies water and a nozzle which is connected to the flux unit and has a narrower width than the flux unit, a frame configured to surround the body and include a suction part for removing smoke, and a heat sensitive unit fixed to seal the nozzle. When the flux unit, nozzle and frame sprays fluid with a certain pressure at high speed through the nozzle, pressure energy of the fluid is changed to velocity energy, and a vacuum state is formed in a suction room at a low pressure due to a fast speed. In order for an operation to be performed as a vacuum ejector for sucking another fluid, the suction part is positioned surrounding the nozzle, and the frame is provided to surround the heat sensitive unit. A negative pressure explained in Bernoulli's theorem is generated to form a vacuum in the space between the nozzle and the mixing chamber, thus enabling the suction of smoke and poisonous gas. The smoke and poisonous gas are mixed with water in the mixing chamber so as to be trapped in the water or dissolved and dispersed in the water. The suction part is formed in the area which encloses the nozzle such that the suction part can operate together with a vacuum ejector. The frame is arranged so as to enclose the heat sensitive unit.
