Abstract:
A threadless linear guide includes a rail, a slide block, a recirculation assembly, and a fixing member. The slide block, the recirculation assembly, and the fixing member are positionable with respect to each other through retention engagements therebetween so that the components can be coupled to each other without screws. A reinforcement plate is provided for reinforcing the strength of the recirculation assembly for the recirculation assembly is generally formed of injecting molding, while the fixing member and the reinforcement plate are made of metal. Thus, with the fixing member and the reinforcement plate enclosing the recirculation assembly, any foreign object jamming in the interior would not cause the rolling bodies to eject out through the recirculation assembly during the operation of rolling bodies.

Abstract:
A belt driven linear actuator includes: a base, a linearly movable unit, a belt driven unit, a first cover, a second cover, a drive source, and a slide block. With the first and second covers removably disposed on the base, the first and second covers can be located at different positions to define different gaps in different directions, so as to allow the slide block to be assembled in different directions, and reduce the restriction on the assembling direction of the drive source. Besides, the width of the base is equal to the height of the base, and the height of the cover portion is equal to the height and the width of the base, which allows the base to be assembled in the same position while in different directions.
Abstract:
A harmonic drive includes a rigid internal gear, a flexible external gear meshed with the rigid internal gear, and a wave generator abutted against the flexible external gear. Through a special parameter setting to design the outer peripheral edge of the wave generator in a surface of variable curvature, the contact area between the wave generator and the flexible external gear is increased to improve fretting wear, thereby enhancing transmission accuracy and reducing hysteresis error.
Abstract:
A Force feedback type compliant orthotic device includes a fixing base, driving unit, first limb supporting unit, and second limb supporting unit. The driving unit has a motor disposed at the fixing base and an output shaft connected to the motor. The output shaft is inserted into a joint base to connect with a resilience unit. The first limb supporting unit has a first supporting element fixed at the fixing base and a first electromyographic signal sensor disposed at the first supporting element. The second limb supporting unit has a second supporting element disposed at the joint base and a second electromyographic signal sensor disposed at the second supporting element. The motor generates appropriate auxiliary power according to the sensing result of the first and second electromyographic signal sensors, such that the first and second supporting elements move relative to each other precisely.
Abstract:
A cooling method for multi-axis controller includes a first step of enabling a first temperature sensor and a second temperature sensor to respectively detect the temperature of a first heat source and the temperature of a second heat source and to send the respective detected data to a control unit, and a second step of enabling the control unit to drive a first bi-direction fan to exhaust air if the temperature of the first heat source surpasses a predetermined upper temperature limit or to drive a second bi-directional fan to exhaust air if the temperature of the second heat source surpasses the predetermined upper temperature limit, thereby achieving enhanced cooling efficiency.
Abstract:
A mechanical end-effector changer includes a first connection unit and a second connection unit. The first connection unit has mounted therein multiple movable members and mating elastic members. Subject to the linking relationship between each movable member and the respective elastic member, the first connection unit and the second connection unit can be automatically connected together or detached from each other, facilitating end-effector change.
Abstract:
A lower limb rehabilitation method for rehabilitation of the lower limbs of a user includes the step of putting a exoskeleton on the lower limbs of the user, the step of setting a trigger condition, the step of using EMG muscle sensors to detect EMG signals from specific muscles of the user when the user is performing specific actions, the step of judging whether the sensing result meets the trigger condition, and the step of re-setting the triggering condition without moving the exoskeleton if the sensing result does not meet the trigger condition, or, the step of triggering a motion generator to provide a control signal to a control unit for controlling the exoskeleton in moving the lower limbs of the user to perform specific actions if the sensing result meets the trigger condition.
Abstract:
A motor-incorporating reducer includes a main body, a rotational actuating member, a flex spline, and an circular spline. The rotational actuating member has a rotating shaft, a wave generator, and a motor. The rotating shaft passes through the main body, and the elliptic wheel is integratedly formed around the rotating shaft. The motor has a magnetic motor rotator that is integratedly formed on the rotating shaft. With the integrated structure, the rotating shaft, the elliptic wheel, and the motor rotator can stably perform rotation, thereby eliminating the risk that the three, when formed separated and assembled, would become non-coaxial due to the resultant tolerance after assembly and have eccentric rotation, and in turn preventing adverse effects on the drive's output torque due to non-coaxial rotation and extending the drive's service life.
